We finally decided to get married after 30 plus years and we are so happy that we chose Lordington Park as our venue.||The drawing room was a perfect setting for our afternoon tea and dinner with our family and friends.||Their recommended caterer Phil Mesquitta provided wonderful food. Calling it afternoon tea really doesn’t do it justice. We had an amazing array of both savoury and sweet delights. The dinner was a full three course meal followed by some very tasty local cheeses plus Cornish Yarg which is a favourite of mine. Our guests were delighted with the choices they made. (See menu cards showing a sample of the choices we were given).||The bedrooms are beautifully and sumptuously decorated and the bathrooms are very well appointed with great showers and lovely soft white towels. The setting is amazing. Breakfast was also great.||I am sure this will become a favourite place for family events while we still live in this area and it will be a place we will come back to stay once we move away. Next time we will be bringing our walking boots so that we can fully appreciate the countryside and the walks that are right outside the front door.||The staff could not have been more helpful both prior to and during the event. Special thanks to Harriet and Josie who served us during the day and evening and to Phil (the caterer).

My husband and I recently stayed at Lordington Park for our wedding anniversary, along with our two dogs. We had a wonderful time.

The hotel, our room, the dining room and the stunning lounge with it's log burner were all immaculately presented. The atmosphere is relaxed, 'come as you are' and very friendly.

The grounds are gorgeous and there is an enclosed 'dog park' area which was fab for us as one of our dogs is a new 'rescue' and has no recall whatsoever, so it was good to have the secure area for her.

Breakfasts were outstanding, and very filling, so much so that we could barely manage our lunch on Saturday which we had booked at one of the nearby pubs, even taking our five mile walk into account.

We will definitely stay again and we would highly recommend the venue to anyone, with or without a dog.

Thank-you, Team Lordingtom Park!

We returned home yesterday after a wonderful 2 night stay at this fabulous place!
During the booking process the staff were amazing, they were equally as wonderful when we arrived. Super helpful and lovely.
The cottage we stayed in (Rose Cottage) was gorgeous! Perfect for the two of us and our dopey 1 year old golden retriever!
The staff were always so busy looking after everyone, but nothing was ever too much trouble! The cottage was spotless. The grounds were beautiful.
The food was amazing (we had the breakfast and also the ultimate charcuterie board one evening).
I only have positive things to say about this wonderful place and I really hope I can go back there soon.
Thank you to all of the staff for everything! And well done!

Found this hidden gem quite by chance, and had a fantastic two-night stay. It's a proper family-run business and the owners couldn't do enough for us. They made us and our little dog feel so welcome - the gardens surround the house and there's an enclosed paddock so that we could let her off lead for a run-around. The house is very tastefully decorated and is peaceful and calming. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom with an excellent shower. There were double doors opening out onto a patio area with a table & chairs, so we could sit out first thing. Breakfast was a choice of cereal/breads/pastries and a variety of cooked English - locally sourced sausages, bacon etc. All very tasty and of course extra treats for the pooch! They serve afternoon tea as well, either in the breakfast room or on the veranda overlooking the gardens. We will definitely go back, perhaps in the winter to take advantage of the spacious lounge with very comfy-looking sofas and a huge wood-stove. It's a really good location too, as there's lots to do around Chichester. Would highly recommend this excellent place.

Liked: This campsite has a really great set up with everything you need for a great camping night away. The way the pitches are cut into the grass is really lovely.

Disliked: No dislikes, only slight negative was that the quiet hours weren’t observed by others but we didn’t mind - it was August holidays and lots of groups enjoying themselves so to be expected!!

Liked: We booked here as a last minute get away. The pitches were beautifully mowed into the meadow and spaced far enough apart that we felt like we had a lot of privacy. We ordered fire wood for the fire pits and the friendly hosts delivered it very quickly. One of our favourite camping spots to date, and right on our doorstep! Would recommend

Liked: A wonderful Campsite beginning with a friendly welcome from Charlie. Pitches were ample in size, clean and clearly marked. We loved the eco-friendly amenities which were regularly cleaned and resupplied each day. Firepits and grill are supplied to each site. Firewood is available upon request for a reasonable additional cost.
Afternoon tea in the tearooms is just a brief walk from camp and well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
