It's a lovely, interesting old farmhouse and the rooms are pleasant. Mrs Simpson is incredibly welcoming and has two gorgeous sheep dogs who are friendly. The breakfast is decent and the views out of the window are stunning. Worth a visit 🙂

We did an overnight stay on our way to York. Heather Simpson welcomed us and showed us to our very large and comfortable bedroom with a bath and shower. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. We will be going back again in the near future.

It is in situated a very good place. The food is very good, especially the home made cakes. |About the rooms, to be honest, I was expecting something more. The shower is available until 8.30 in the morning and for me, as I am a musician and I was playing the night before, it isn't really comfortable, especially for the price paid (absolutely not cheap). |Also, the Wi fi didn't work in the room. |It is a very nice place, I hope that they improve.

We have been coming to this bed and breakfast for many years Heather and Bill have become good friends and we always have a first class stay. We always enjoy our breakfast nothing is too much trouble and bedrooms are comfortable and warm. A first class experience .

My husband and I stayed here September 2015, in the cottage.
It was a superb location, beautiful location and very friendly hosts.
Our only disappointment was we couldn't stay longer!!
