Stayed here for one night for a wedding at Walcot Hall and would highly recommend it. Liz and Marlon were superb hosts and looked after us really well; felt like a home from home. The farmhouse - beautifully renovated - was immaculate and the room lovely - big, light and airy with a comfy bed and large, spotless bathroom. After a late night at the wedding the cooked breakfast more than hit the spot. An outstanding B&B experience so thank you Liz and Marlon.

The most beautiful stay here, after a wedding at Walcott Hall. Liz was so helpful and had our room ready before the wedding, so we could get settled in before heading over to the venue. The B&B is perfection. As neat as two pins, incredibly clean and everything was pure quality - the bed and bedding included and we had one of the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time. To wake up to the sound of birdsong and sunny views across unbroken countryside was like waking up in a dream. The breakfast was incredible and Liz & Marlon (and Storm, the dog!)’s hospitality was second to none. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed with Marlon and Liz for 2 nights while attending a wedding at Walcott Hall and could not recommend the Lower Farmhouse highly enough! ||It was just the most wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. The rooms are warm and inviting with big comfortable beds, private bathrooms and lovely bright windows to let in natural sunlight. ||On top of all of this, the breakfast personally prepared by Marlon and Liz each morning is exceptional - delicious, hearty with all local ingredients. ||The real highlight of the Lower Farmhouse is the warm and caring hospitality from Marlon and Liz. Thank you for having us and we hope to come and see you again some time soon!

We stayed here for one night, as we were attending a pop up dining event nearby. Liz welcomed us and showed us to our room and offered us tea or coffee. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, luxurious bedding and an en suite with a great shower. Breakfast the next day was absolutely delicious and we got to meet Marlon as well. We liked it so much we are due to stay again soon!

We had the pleasure of staying at Lower Farmhouse B&B for two nights to attend a wedding at Walcot Hall. We arrived on the Friday evening to be treated to tea and cake on the lawn. The owners Liz and Marlon were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Cleanliness was of a high standard. The room was lovely, the bed extremely comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast. Stayed here as part of a group of 10 attending a wedding at Walcot hall. Cannot praise Marlon and liz highly enough . Fabulous hosts , accommodation and location. . Rooms are perfect and furnished to a high standard . Very comfortable beds , perfect en-suite and great quality bathroom essentials . |The tea and cakes on arrival were were an absolute treat and the farmhouse breakfast was perfect and full of locally sourced ingredients ... loved the sausages and eggs . |We will return . Marlon and Liz couldn`t have been more welcoming, with tea and biscuits to welcome us and a beautiful bedroom with one of the best beds and bedding ever!||Breakfast was a lovely selection of fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc with a cooked option as well. My husband had a cooked breakfast which looked amazing - generous amounts of local produce and toast. I had to sample a bit of it and can confirm it was delicious! Liz so kindly provided a taxi service from a wedding we attended on Saturday evening and took us back the next day to collect our car. Unbelievable service. Thank you so much Marlon and Liz for everything and all provided with a relaxed and friendly smile.

Liz was an amazing host for our stay. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and full of character. The breakfast was brilliant and very generous. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
