Firstly the flat (Sealladh) is very clean and the bed very comfortable. TV is not as shown is much smaller and more suited to a bedroom - not big enough for us to watch Wimbledon finals. Kitchen equipment needs replacing - blunt knives, not enough mugs or tall glasses and pans very worn (non stick). The sofas are leather and very saggy making them quite uncomfortable - definitely need replacing. While the bathroom is stylish there is no toilet roll holder - surely this is a basic! Too many rules - don't leave windows open, don't leave bathroom mirror switched on in case of fire! Also you are told you must strip your bed and where to leave the bedding and towels - this is not great hospitality, especially for the price. No visitors book for guests to leave comments - often a really good source of information of where to eat, places to visit etc. Visitors folder of information was more about "house rules" and the tone was not particularly friendly. Furthermore roadside signage is poor - we drove passed it and as we were only given the postcode. Once you drive in there is a sign on the gate "Flat 1 Lurach" which made us ask is there more than one? The name Sealladh is confusing and directions need improving.

We stayed there in Feb and what a hidden gem of a place this is. Views from the house are breathtaking - loch and mountains with Rheas wondering around ! House has everything you need for a family - clean rooms, fully kitted kitchen, large living room with a wood burner and panoramic views. Graeme is a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We will be staying there again !

We had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, and eco-friendly. The location was perfect, and the friendly presence of the emus in the field added interest to the beautiful view across Loch Linnhe to Lismore and Ardnamurchan beyond. Our hosts were communicative and generous. We are looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful house with amazing views. Nice decor, comfy beds, and spacious. I felt so relaxed here. Had an amazing trip to Lismore Island, hillwalking in Glencoe and a stunning organised excursion from Oban, which took in Mull, Staffa and Iona. Lunch at the beach in Iona rivalled that of the Carribean. Fantastic swim in crystal clear water and silver sands in the warm sunshine. Just gorgeous. The scenery all around this area is stunning. Will definitely be back to this house. Would highly recommend.

Lurach apartment was in excellent condition. It was very comfortable and warm which is important in October. Everything was supplied and was high spec. The shower was amazing as was all the equipment and the owners lived nearby and were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge etc. Port Appin is a beautiful part of Scotland with lots to do and see. I heartily recommend the Jacobite train from Fort William and the highland titles nature reserve near Duror
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We have been before and stayed in the house which was equally lovely and will definitely be back again to either the house or apartment hopefully next year

Superb property in a great location with amazing views over Loch Linhe and out to the mountains beyond. We had a fabulous stay here in September and were surprised by the excellent WiFi and the availability of Netflix and Amazon Prime on the TV, which went down well with the young adults in our party when they were too tired from exploring to do more than collapse on one of the three large, comfy sofas. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we were delighted to find that a welcome pack, including bread, eggs and a bottle of wine, were there waiting for us in the kitchen. Port Appin made a great base for us to explore the area and see everything from the Ben Nevis and the Glenfinnan Viaduct, to Glen Coe and out to Mull to visit the Abbey on Iona and the pretty town of Tobermoray. There were so man other trips and castles and walks that we wanted to do, so we will definitely be back to Lurach for the views, the comfort and the amazing scenery.

Such an idyllic place to have a rest! I spent there great days having proper rest. Peace and quiet. There is no better view to wake up to in the morning!!! Thank You for having such a gem in this tranquil location! Definitely recommended!!!
