Booked Lydney House for my wife's 60th so needed somewhere big enough to accommodate the family get together and what a great property this is. We managed to house most the family here in great clean and functional bedrooms. Had plenty of room to cook, eat, relax, play bingo and generally enjoy the weekend.
The property had everything we needed to make it a great weekend. The youngest children loved the spa's whilst the older ones were entertained with the pool/football and air hockey tables.
We could relax in the bar area or take things downstairs to the unique basement area.
So glad that we booked Lydney House and definitely will look to book again in the future.
Thank you for the use of this fantastic property, it has definitely helped us to have great memories to look back on.

Lydney House Hotel was a fab venue for my sisters hen do. It’s spacious, was very clean and provided lots of added extras such as 2 hot tubs, games room and a fully equipped kitchen.
We had a cocktail master class with Steve the Barman and as the weather was so nice we did it outside in the courtyard which was the perfect sun trap! The cellar was also a huge bonus for us as we held a silent disco down there and utilised the free disco lights provided.
Location is quiet but so close to amenities/shops.
Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed my first trip to this new venue to deliver my Cocktail Masterclass! What a house! I'm fortunate to visit many top-notch venues around East Anglia, and this is right up there as one of the better ones. Facilites looked great, lovely kitchen and dining room - also had a sneak peek at the Bar & Games room, so it's the perfect Party Venue. As the weather was lovely, we decided to host the Masterclass out in the courtyard, a great little suntrap and a perfect area to set up. Am back here again in a couple of months - it's nice to have another great Party House in Swaffham 👏

Had a great stay at Lydney House with a large group of old college chums and their families. The house is huge and it's previous use as a hotel means every room has an en suite which is a treat. The bar area, complete with billiard table was great fun. The kitchen is a good size and well stocked and the location on the edge of Swaffham is quiet yet handy for the shops. Would highly recommend.

Hired the house for my 60 birthday for family and friends and we all had a fab time. The house is so spacious so plenty of areas for quiet time as well as dancing time etc. everything there to make a great weekend. Would highly recommend hiring and great location to town for any necessities. Thanks for everything.

We all had a lovely time at Lynn houses, there was a room for all off us to either come together, or go off in groups , the cellar was brilliant for the disco, bar area with the pool table was so much fun , those that wanted a quiet room went in to the small room and done puzzles , the kitchen was wel equipped
And the hot tubs were just fabulous. We are definitely going back next year

Great weekend with friends, house facilities and lay out are great. Good food in walking distance at local town. Make sure you have warm clothes as we were quite cold during the freezing weather in the house especially at night in some of the bedrooms.

20 members of our family stay in Lydney House at the weekend and had a fabulous time. The house was clean and well equipped for entertaining us. The pool table was a big hit with lots of tournaments going on and the football table and the air hockey were a bonus. We had a private chef called @rabbitandrun who we would recommend and would use again, the food was delicious and the service excellent. All in all a great place to stay and would love to go again.
