I've stayed twice, and recently I stayed a year ago in the summer . The atmosphere is good and the staff is very kind. The room is clean and cosy. The breakfast was very luxurious, and in addition to English break first, yoghurt, granola, and handmade jam were also delicious. If you have a chance to go to England, I recommend you to stay here.

250 year old house so quirky, but nice. Beautiful gardens. Good parking. Central to town, in easy walking distance. Very nice breakfast.

We have just spent four nights in this lovely house with excellent hosts, Glenys and George. It is a perfect location for the pubs, restaurants and all the small independent shops. Breakfast was superb, home made compote,(delicious!), their own honey and preserves and cooked bacon etc if you've got room! We had a really relaxing stay.

Lovely room. Very hot water for bath or shower. Great breakfast of compote made with fruit from the gardens. The garden is amazing. I only stayed one night but I would have loved to have time to explore. ||It has its own parking, which is very useful indeed and was one of the main reasons I chose it. ||The only thing I would have wished for is a kettle in the room. There was one available in the breakfast room but I didn’t want to use it at odd hours. ||The people who own it are lovely!

We had a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful, comfy, double room with en-suite shower bathroom. Communication with the owner was easy, helpful and friendly (especially as we had to change the dates due to being struck down with Covid!) Room was comfy, and very clean with a view of a pretty, geranium filled courtyard and quaint rooftops. Bathroom was very clean with a great, hot shower. Check in and welcome on arrival was wonderful and easy. Especially as we were later than planned as we walked from Bath, along the canal. Bradford on Avon centre is a few minutes walk away, with pubs and restaurants. (Ravello is great but make sure you book!) We had a quick look at the stunningly beautiful garden before going out to eat. A comfy night of good sleep was followed next morning by a delicious cooked breakfast, including yummy home made fruit compote, yogurt, jams and honey. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

We were looking for a self catering stay in Bradford on Avon and saw this B&B which was offering a studio flat that is to the side of the B&B. We found the place fairly easily and were given directions for the private parking which is not too far from the property. We let ourselves in having been given instructions for the key and found a delightful flat, we'd been left some butter, fresh milk, orange juice and biscuits which was very appreciated. The flat is all on one level and is a very comfortable place to stay, there is a kitchen area with a combo microwave/oven and a hob, fridge, dining table and chairs and a sofa and king size bed. There is a wood burner to but we didn't use it as it wasn't to cold. There is a record player which was fun and my husband and I spent our first evening there listening to various LP's. The shower is lovely, but it does have two steps up into it, and a separate toilet. Outside is a courtyard with a large table and four chairs but we went on up the flight of steps to the main garden, beautifully laid out with lots of interesting plants and fruit trees such as Medlar, pear, apples. walnuts and grapes all laden with fruit at this time of year. There is a lovely seating area at the top of a flight of steps that offer a lovely view over the garden and stunning views of the town. If you carry further up the garden and wind your way through the orchard at the top this is where the private parking is. We had a lovely few days here, Bradford on Avon is a lovely bustling place with some wonder things to see such as the Tithe barn, the Saxon church, many lovely shops for gifts and plenty of places that sell their art and crafts. Lynchetts also sale the produce that they make from the many fruit trees and beeswax candles from the bee hives they have, all of which are available from the main house. We would highly recommend this self catering studio flat.

Our first stay at this property and it won’t be the last. The property is central, and yet it was peaceful. Very close to the cafes, restaurants and shops. It is a beautiful building with delightful rooms- very comfy. I was expecting it to be a bit draughty due to the age of the building, it was anything but. Lovely and toasty warm, I didn’t need the thick bed clothes I’d packed. Glenys was a wonderful hostess, her homemade preserves really hit the spot at breakfast. We can’t wait to return!
