The attic room was spacious and comfortable. Nice hot shower, tea and coffee making facilities, and windows that could be opened. That's always a bonus these days. The building itself has been converted and is not modern, but is clean and functional. The shared kitchen downstairs was useful as I purchased a takeaway meal and it was nice to have proper facilities in which to eat it.||The main door utilises a keypad which is somewhat tricky to negotiate, and is located at waist height. This was my only gripe, but I figured it out eventually and it is good that the building is secure, as there is no reception.||My colleague had the basement room, which we thought was ensuite when we booked, but apparently not. The two basement rooms share facilities. I don't think that's very clear in the description.||The location is about a mile out of the city centre, but there are regular buses, and I never had a long wait in either direction.||Paul the owner, was courteous, helpful and patient both during the booking process and when I had to phone because of my inability to open the door!||I would definitely return next time I'm in the area. Good value.
