Wanted to try something other than a bland sterile national brand experience, you know what I mean!! ||This is a hidden gem, fantastic customer service, spotless rooms, fantastic breakfast, a chance to see staff who care for their customers and deliver a lovely experience. ||Spending a few hours with locals in the bar who appreciate the historic significance of this landmark and who have a passion for the place. ||Some may say it is dated but I prefer this, ornate cornices, random pictures, quirkiness!!.||Kelly, an absolute workforce alongside all of the her staff.||Long may it continue.

Really enjoyed my stay over and the Lyndon House Hotel, The staff were really helpful on arrival and showed me to the carp park down the side. It is limited and there was only a few places left but I did arrive in the evening. The room was cute and quirky with castle like features. The room was clean and warm and comfortable. The barstaff were really nice and I had a great night in the pub with really friendly customers too. I could not fault it really, yes there is a steep slope from the carpark to the rooms and pub but I thought it was worth it despite my disabilities. The breakfast was fantastic and big! Full cooked breakfast or lots of choices. Good coffee and plenty of Toast, cereals. I will definitely go back.

Great experience and check in . Staff were excellent, room was comfortable and very clean. Drink prices exceptionally good all in all just “Bostin” would certainly recommend this as a place to stay as your local life to everything. On our return at 23.00 Jamie was working behind the bar and what a pleasant, polite and nice guy. Thank you all

Superb hotel, without exception wonderful staff. Brilliant food. Chef is a genius. Fair prices. Highly recomended, we stayed 3 nights and used it as a base to revisit our roots. Idiosyncratic bedrooms with real character. The slope to the lower car park and bedrooms is very real and a surprise to now flatlanders like us. We'd stay again, say no more.

I would like to be able to review this property but unfortunately we were unable to stay.||Booked this property whilst working in the local area. Of particular importance to us as business travellers, is a suitably appointed on site car park. Especially as our vehicle is fitted with expensive equipment.||This property was advertised as ‘free onsite parking, no reservation required’. Unfortunately the car park was full on arrival.||Having spoken to hotel staff, we were advised that we could either pay for parking elsewhere or ‘abandon’ the vehicle on the main road - at our own risk.||Given the contents of the vehicle, these options were not viable and we had to seek accommodation elsewhere.||Whilst I acknowledge that the booking (2 rooms) was non refundable, I would have expected for the proprietor to apply common sense and on this occasion, given the lack of parking facilities, a refund would have been granted as a gesture of good will. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The term ‘money grabbing’ springs to mind. Rubbish customer service.

Quirky but very friendly bar/hotel... Excellent beer, and superbly comfortable bed! Also just far enough out of Walsall town center. Excellent location. Recommended!

Excellent value with large rooms and comfy beds. Cheap bar especially between 4-7pm. Breakfast was excellent
