5-Star Stay from Start to Finish!

From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The staff at reception were so lovely and welcoming, especially Sophie – she truly went above and beyond! Not only did she upgrade our room, but her warmth and genuine care for all the guests really stood out. She's a credit to the team and clearly excellent at her job.

Our room was absolutely spotless, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud – so soft and cozy with luxurious covers. We were also provided with robes and slippers, which made our stay feel even more special.

We took full advantage of the leisure facilities, which were pristine. The changing areas were clean, and the pool was a perfect temperature – warm and inviting. My kids usually get chilly in pools, and although they weren’t with us this time, I’ll definitely be bringing them next visit!

Dinner was top-notch, the drinks were stunning, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything was made even better by the beautiful surrounding scenery – it really is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

my mum and my sister and me attended the spa afternoon today and we went into have lunch afterwards, ann marie was spot on from beginning to end, she was friendly knowledgeable and nothing was too much bother. we will definetly return, she advised us of the it is on deal and the sunday lunch she went into great detail of what was included and it just felt like she was thoroughly interested in what she was doing. she gave us recommendations for a dessert i had sticky toffee pudding and swapped my ice cream for pouring cream and it was delicious. |she was well presented and spoke kindly. |10/10 we will be back.

Hotel is in lovely grounds with good parking. It is full of character and charm.||||Our room the Oak was very spacious. Great bathroom, bath and shower and supplied with the Elemis toiletries. ||||The room was just a little bit dated and tired. It did have a Nespresso coffee machine. Super comfy bed and soft pillows. ||||The SPA was great. Nice steam room, pool and sauna. Couldn’t get towels though. Was told to go to reception, then reception said we had to get them from our room?||||Food was excellent as were the drinks. Just a bit overpriced. £19 for a burger and £10 for a gin is ridiculous. Not even a gin glass to be seen. Would be good if there was a set menu for hotel guests. ||||Overall this could be a fabulous place to stay but it needs to be refurbished.

3 Star rooms and dining.

At the time of writing I've spent 4 weeks at this hotel, Been in 4 different rooms and had breakfast & dinner here almost every day.
Location wise its great if you want a quiet stay outside a big city.
The staff are great, they've been helpful, accommodating and super friendly. But it seems this place can be mismanaged at times.
Food is WAY TOO expensive for what you're getting, especially when Crutherland House is meant to be a 4 star experience. Breakfast has been mostly good with plenty of options, unfortunately there's been a couple of instances where the quality has hit the floor.
The rooms have also been very hit or miss. I've had both incredibly comfortable bed and beds that will poke you with springs all night. Rooms with views of the roof ventilation and a room right across from the kitchen back door, both incredibly noisy. All the showers have leaked onto the bathroom floor. Many of the rooms don't have usable sockets beside the bed. Paint/wall paper peeling off the walls. Absolutely no noise isolation between the rooms and the hallways, you can hear everything.
The amenities are generally very good, while dated (Gym, pool, sauna etc.).
And the bar seems to never be fully stocked? I've overheard countless people be told that they don't have something despite it still being on the menu. But even if they did, be prepared to pay more than you would in London for a drink of any kind.

What a beautiful building set in stunning grounds. You were made to feel welcome from the minute you walked in. Staff in the restaurant were lovely especially Jackie who was very friendly. The menu had plenty to choose from and the food was fabulous! Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return.

I booked a spa break for me and my mum. Aye for a week later lol!!! We turned up and the receptionist saw me upset. She got it all sorted quickly. Room booked. Booked our restaurant and we were able to get treatments all rearranged. What a great team. They didn’t have t d this. Thing is I live in England. The breakfast waitresses all done a grand job as they were hammered as we all kinda turned up at the same time. Team work make the dream work!!! Well done everyone for helping up out and making our stay here restful and relaxing. Will definitely be bringing my hubby here at some point!!!

Came here with my mum and little sister and we had the most amazing time, the staff where so lovely, polite, friendly and helped us with any questions we had, they gave us a free room upgrade and the room was beautiful, they really cared for our needs and met amazing customer service standards not only that but they are dog friendly!! Our puppy loved the treats they leave out for all the guests dogs and the scenery outside was so beautiful and well kept. We will definitely be back thank you so much!

Lovely one night stay with my 5 year old son before we went to Blair Drummond.|Room was clean, staff were exceedingly helpful and the breakfast was excellent. |There was plenty of variety for children who might not want a cooked breakfast. ||We’ll definitely stay again.
