I stayed here with my mum for a night during the week and we booked Suite 5. I slept on the sofa bed which was really comfy, and the room had loads of space. It was super light and airy without feeling overlooked, and we loved that every room comes with its own terrace and chairs. Definitely worth paying extra for ||The grounds are beautiful. We walked down to the end of the lawn and sat on a bench watching the boats go by, which was so peaceful. We also had a go on the tennis courts and used the indoor pool, both were completely empty, which was a bonus! The restaurant was lovely for dinner. The portions were a bit on the small side, but everything was delicious and the staff were amazing, especially Mia. Breakfast was pretty disappointing, and we didn’t like the layout of the room where all the tables pointed towards the tvs. It could do with a bit of updating ||Everyone at the hotel made us feel really looked after and were happy to help with requests like non-feather bedding. Shoutout to Laura and Sophie on reception, they were both so friendly and helpful. As was the Italian housekeeping lady. Many thanks!

I went with all the family (12 of us in all) here to celebrate my 70th birthday. From the beginning the booking process was made very easy and all staff were very helpful. This continued when we got there with very good rooms all set up as requested. The evening meals, which we had in a separate room due to the large number of us, were above expectations as the food was excellent and the staff looked after us extremely well. In particular Mel, Sophia & Mo as well as John who was not only very helpful but entertaining as well! Overall it made for an excellent birthday celebration. There is just one thing that could be improved and that is the service in the separate Solent Restaurant where we had lunch on arrival and breakfast each morning - probably needs more staff. I can, however, certainly recommend a stay at this hotel as it is also situated in a lovely spot with plenty of amenities.

For £154 per night, I expected a higher standard. Unfortunately, the room fell short. There was poor ventilation or air conditioning, which made the space feel uncomfortably stuffy. While the room was generally clean, the carpets were worn and damaged, and there was a noticeable amount of dust - not terrible, but certainly not what you'd hope for at this price point.

Breakfast was not included and cost an additional £26. For that price, I anticipated a more impressive offering. In reality, it was comparable to a Wetherspoons breakfast (without hash browns).

On the positive side, the hotel does appear to offer some excellent facilities, including a pool, gym, and spa, and it’s set in a beautiful location. It seems ideal for families. However, as I was only staying for one night and didn’t have the opportunity to use these amenities, I can’t comment on their quality. They may, however, help justify the higher room rate for longer stays.

If you’re simply looking for a one-night stay, a Premier Inn would probably be much better of an option. However, if you're planning a family holiday and intend to make use of the hotel’s facilities, it might be worth considering - although pack your own breakfast or find somewhere to go near by.

A Truly Unforgettable Spa Experience!

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the spa recently with my mum, and from start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of perfect – all thanks to the incredible team, especially Jamie and Kata.

Jamie was an absolute gem from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, organising such a thoughtful and relaxing experience for both me and my mum. His warm, professional manner made us feel so welcome and at ease, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making our visit special. You can tell he takes real pride in his work – he’s a credit to the spa!

As for the treatments – wow. Kata gave me the best massage and facial I’ve ever had. Her hands are magic! She was so attentive and in tune with what my body needed, and I left feeling completely refreshed, relaxed, and glowing. Her calming presence and skill made it a truly luxurious experience.

If you’re looking for a place to unwind, be pampered, and feel completely looked after, this is it. Thank you so much to Jamie and Kata for making our visit so memorable – we’ll definitely be back!

I stayed here for a weekend, which was supposed to be a nice relaxing weekend.
While the facilities themselves could be relaxing and welcoming, the families and children take you away from that. The hotel tell you that there are Adult only times at both pools, but the reality is there is no policing that so there are children at all times. If the pools alternated times for adult and family swim times, I think that could’ve solved our issue, but it was just a riot at all times.

The food was alright, nothing massive to shout home about but the service was good and staff were very friendly.

The location is good as you can walk into Lymington easily and visit the market.

The grounds and hotel are absolutely stunning, and the outdoor pool surrounded by a walled garden was lovely. The gym is very tired, as our lots of the amenities.. which is such a shame. The breakfast, although being asked to provide a time was late opening.. and as the first through the door, disappointingly luke warm at best. The breakfast doesnt have a good continental offering as it's just a fridge cold croissants and a selection of one cheese, two meats. The gentleman running breakfast and the bar through the day was however, absolutely lovely and an asset to Elmers. Our room was huge and exceptionally clean, with great service from Ellen on anything we needed. All that said, we had a lovely stay but may not return with breakfast included.

I’ve been a member at Elmer’s Court for a couple of years now and honestly, I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re made to feel so welcome. Jamie, the manager, always greets me with a big smile and is so helpful every single time. He really goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable.||Jordan and Alfie are just as lovely—friendly, professional, and always up for a chat or to help out if you need anything. The whole team creates such a warm and positive atmosphere that keeps me coming back.||The grounds are absolutely beautiful, especially when the sun’s out. You can enjoy the outdoor pool and really make the most of the peaceful setting. It’s such a great place to unwind or get a workout in.||The classes are brilliant too! Katrina and Verity make the aqua classes so much fun, full of energy and laughter. And Nikki’s yoga sessions are just what you need to feel calm, she’s great at what she does.||A huge thank you to all the instructors and staff, you all make Elmer’s Court such a special place||Bernadette Ranger x||

We booked Elmer's Court for a two night stay from 1st to 3rd July as it was holding a special event which our grandaughter was attending. As the hotel chain, Macdonalds, advertises on its website their hotels are all "luxury" and profess to being 4 star, unfortunately, from our experience it was a total disappointment. Our room had a shabby carpet which was threadbare in parts, dirty windows, dated and shabby furniture and overall hadn't been cleaned to any acceptable standard. The plug in the sink needed attention as well as the one in the bath which was not working correctly. The net curtains were not wide enough to close as there was a gap of six inches or more so the heavier curtains had to be closed to give some privacy (hot day of 24 degrees). We complained to reception the next morning and spoke to the duty manager of the issues and dissatisfaction. She made a note of our problems and concerns and she said that these would be addressed. We were also informed by the duty manager that there are plans to update and upgrade the bedrooms in the near future together with other on site projects. All very well and good but we had paid for decent accomodation in the present time (£310 for two nights) not for what upgrades are going to be carried out in the future. The room was given another clean up and the maintenance man (he must be the busiest member of staff at the hotel) fixed the bathroom issues and the net curtains. We were never contacted again by that duty manager to ask if we were satisfied with the issues we raised. |The buffet breakfast on the 1st morning was yet another major disappointment. There was only the usual dregs of a couple of cold, fatty bacon slices, three cold fried eggs, a few cold tasteless sausages and such like available at that time(9.15am). Random trays of food came out of the kitchen, which by the time it was put out had gone cold. Needless to say, my second day breakfast was cereal, toast and two pastries.|The customer service is very poor, top prices and low quality accomodation. Never again with Macdonalds!
