Magnolia Bed and Breakfast - Bristol

We stayed for one night at the Magnolia B&B while we were visiting family in Bristol. We found the location very pleasant and peaceful and had a very warm welcome from Alison and her family. The accomodation was extremely comfortable and clean and Alison had thought of all the little extras that makes a pleasant stay. In the morning we had a really lovely breakfast sitting at the table in the window. We originally booked for three as our son was coming with us and particularly liked the idea of a self contained apartment with two bedrooms. We would definitely return when we visit Bristol again.

Alison the host is very friendly and helpful. The layout is useful if you are 3 people, we had one of our daughters with us, as there is a double room and small single room with lounge area in the “suite”. |All very clean and fresh. Decent shower. |I would have given 5 stars but the double bed is just a standard which is not great when you have a v tall husband!

I had been in Coalpit Heath for a quick stay and finding Magnolia B&B was one of the best surprises of the weekend.
I stood myself at Orchid room and the space is AMAZING. Allison is so kind and makes your stay TRULLY at home.
You have everything needed in your room and all is so clean, quiet and comfortable. I will surely repeat.
I am so thankful for everything and will repeat for sure!

Wow, we really picked a winner here. Alison our hostess was a lovely gentle lady. The accommodation was excellent. We had a double and single room for 3 of us. The beds were super comfy and pillows excellent. Bathroom facilities great. We had a small lounge eating area with full provisions. Could easily spend a weeks here in comfort. Breakfast came this morning had everything, chocolate and plain croissants, cereal yoghurt, fruit juice, fresh sliced fruit, toast, condiments, ham, prosciutto, cheeses. Beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and stay again if in the area

We stayed here for two nights recently and we found it to be a most efficacious locale for sojourning to Bristol. It is a well appointed, comfortable and welcoming self-contained annex with it's own separate entrance. ||The owner, Alison made us feel welcome and supplied us with a splendid breakfast of both cereal and continental comestibles. I do recommend the cafetiere of coffee it is splendid! ||The building is set in a quiet residential street with only the occasional distant rumble of a train plying towards South Wales upon Mr. Brunel's masterpiece of Victorian engineering. ||We will certainly return to this establishment whence the weather is more conducive..,

Clean & tidy. Small self-contained accommodation, consisting of kitchen/living area - with Guest Information folder, sofa bed, dining table & chairs, microwave, fridge with small bottle of milk, TV, kettle, biscuits and complimentary drinks. Note there is no cooker.

Two bedrooms - one single and one double.
Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and complimentary toiletries.
A set of towels is supplied for each person.

An integral door leads to the hallway, where there is a toaster and more complimentary food/drinks.

Outside the front entrance, there is an ashtray in a smoking/vaping area.

For those who are Cynophobic or Allergic - the Owners do have a dog.... but if you let the Owners know of your fear or allergy before arriving, they will ensure that you do not meet the dog during your stay. They will use the back entrance with their dog, leaving the front entrance and hallway, safely and comfortably just for you.

Location-wise: there is the sound of a train passing every 20 minutes, which we were not informed about and was a slight annoyance for our Daughter.
Other than that, it is a quiet residential road.

We did enjoy our stay. It was very comfortable and relaxing.

What a little gem. First class service from start to finish. Alison goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. It's all the little details and she has thought of everything. I will be coming back and I could not recommend enough. Thanks for a perfect stay.

The host was very clean kind and caring. Nice pictures street. We stop here with work for the past 3month and I never had a bad or anything bad to say about the magnolia bnb. Well worth the money I would definitely spend another 3month there if I had to.
