My friend and I were recommended The Magnolia Tree for our stay whilst on a nearby art workshop. It was very special for us both as it was our first time meeting each other. ||The location was perfect! Just a short distance by car into Devizes and Rowde. Lovely and quiet, with beautiful views across the fields, to the hills of the millennium white horse. ||Our hosts, Candy and Lloyd were just the loveliest of people, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with tea and homemade cake in their lovely garden. Their home is gorgeous, ( as is their very friendly dog Rosie) and the rooms were immaculate! Very modern with an en-suite bathroom, extremely clean and very comfortable, with quality bedding for a great nights sleep. We were spoilt at breakfast with tasty homemade jams and yoghurt plus a full English, cooked to perfection!||I’d highly recommend their B and B for the perfect stay. We definitely hope to return again next year and wouldn’t go anywhere else after staying there ! ||Thank you Candy, Lloyd and Rosie

Candy & Lloyd were very welcoming & very friendly as was Rosie their lovely dog. Our room was lovely & clean & the bed was very comfortable. Lots of storage space. Homemade biscuits in our room aswell as drinks. Set in a quiet residential street with a bus stop over the road for use in the daytime if you find walking difficult or a short stroll into town, also taxi's if needed. The breakfast room looks towards the chalk horse on the hill. The garden was beautiful too. Every morning we were greeted by Rosie who is such a lovely dog. You certainly wouldn't go hungry after eating the excellent breakfast. We found this b&b by accident & so glad we did. Parking on site which is a bonus. Will definitely return again soon. This is a must if you want to stay in Devizes.

Candy and Lloyd are excellent hosts, you are welcomed with tea and homemade cake. The room was clean and well equipped. There are lots of small, lovely touches, such as homemade biscuits and fresh flowers. Breakfast is something else! Homemade bread and jams, fresh fruit salad, cereals and a choice of cooked food, all very tasty and well presented. The dining room looks out into their pretty garden and the countryside beyond. Would highly recommend.

Homemade bread, homemade jam, homemade yogurts, so much love goes into making the guests so welcome. Beautiful clean and so many Little’s touches. Candy is so knowledgeable about the area and Lloyd is very welcoming.

As soon as we arrive at the magnolia tree we were greeted and offered a drink and cake. The room was very well presented,clean and had soaps etc in the bathroom. Lloyd & Candy our host were very helpful and friendly and went that little further to make our stay more relaxing. The breakfasts was very good and there was a good selection from yogurts,fresh fruit, cereal and various cooked options using local produce and homemade products. And while eating breakfast you get to enjoy the beautiful view of their garden and the Wiltshire countryside.

Candy and Lloyd gave us such a warm welcome, and we're kind and attentive during our stay. Secure storage for our bikes, big fluffy towels, gorgeous tea and cake and a breakfast fit to send us on our way for a day cycling. Really comfortable, thank you.

Such a warm welcome for a pair of drowned rat cyclists. Excellent host team making us feel at home and getting us settled. Great night's sleep in this quiet residential street overlooking the fields out back. Breakfast was cooked to order and was accompanied by lovely homemade jams. The 'concierge' service was really helpful and got us all sorted before our departure. Pick this one if you're in Devizes needing a restful night's kip.
