We had a fantastic stay and were made to feel very welcome by Sarah. The house is beautiful and was warm and cosy during our winter trip. The grounds and pool looked amazing so perhaps we will have to come back again in the summer months!

We had the most fabulous weekend here to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday. The property is simply stunning and has a lovely family feel to it, with everything you could possibly want for a special occasion. The bedrooms are immaculate and beautifully furnished with comfy beds and gorgeous bed linen. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and there is a good sized drawing room plus 2 other smaller rooms for relaxing in, as well as a good sized dining room. We spent most of the weekend outdoors as the weather was superb. The heated pool was a real bonus with plenty of outdoor seating and a BBQ. The grounds are just stunning with plenty of seating if you need to find some peace and quiet. We also made good use of the table tennis, croquet and mini golf course. |We didn't feel the need to leave the property at all over the weekend ( apart from dog walking!) as there really was everything we needed there.|Sarah and Kim were superb hosts. and so kind, leaving a bottle of Prosecco for my daughter on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all my enquiries were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Although they were on site, we were left to enjoy their beautiful home and really felt like it was ours!|This is the most beautiful setting for a special weekend or just some family time. We had the most wonderful time and will definitely return. Highly recommend this amazing property

Fabulous rented the whole house for a weekend. Pool, games room, huge table in kitchen which was lovely and snug thanks to the huge aga. I wasn't very keen on all the stuffed animals and the taxidermy, the downstairs toilet was very creepy with so many eyes looking at you including a full size alligator....yuck!!! Not dog friendly unless your dog is well trained and obedient as could easily get in pool, pond or onto road. A great spot for long walks and exploring.

A wonderful place for families and friends to come together in the most beautiful setting. The house, grounds, interiors and outside pool are all great.||Everything during our stay was perfect and I would high recommend this beautiful accommodation

We were a group of 16 adults and the house was great - plenty of space, comfy bedrooms and all the kitchen equipment you need for large groups. The outdoor pool and gardens were fantastic and made our weekend even more enjoyable.||Lovely walk from the house through the fields to The Kings Arms in Farthingstone.||Very easy communication with Sarah and would definitely recommend the house for large groups looking for a weekend away together!

Friendly helpful hosts, lots of activity equipment provided (pool, table tennis, tennis, golf, croquet, cricket, darts etc.). Lovely house with large rooms, feels homely. Good for all ages. Good range of eating area - kitchen, pool area, dining room, garden.

My husband and I got married with only our 2 witnesses during the pandemic. When restrictions eased we booked here to celebrate our marriage with our closest relatives- it was exactly what we wanted and they made it super special for us. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool was a lot of fun!

We stayed as a party of 14 adults and 5 children. We had a wonderful time. Sarah was brilliant - replied to all email enquiries quickly etc etc. The outdoor pool area in the sunshine was absolutely fantastic for a BBQ and the house had everything that you could need catering wise. ||||The only very minor area that could have been improved was the wifi was a bit hit and miss as there were so many of us trying to log onto it. But I think that was just because 14 of use were trying to all access it at the same time. Other than that I can't think of a negative comment. Brilliant weekend.
