I booked a room here last minute and it was lovely. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. The breakfast was a filling buffet in the breakfast room overlooking the pond. The host was great as well. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Fantastic place, host was very welcoming. Myself and sister stayed for 3 nights. We planned to visit Symonds Yat, Hereford, Gloucester and Monmouth. The location was perfect 😊 the room was beautiful and very clean, the continental breakfast was plentiful.

We had a simple one night stay... being on the level was great for me with my walking issues. Best about the place for us was the sense of cleanliness, essential at this time. I can't remember the owners name but she was very pleasant and the supplied breakfast was ample. The judgement as always is, would we use this place again and recommend it to others, yes to both!! If an evening meal had been an option I'd have given it 5 stars, it's simple and easy, just what we wanted, thank you.

Stayed here for a night before heading to Bath. ||||Lovely place. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed for the nights stay. ||||Staff were lovely and polite and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Please note there is an additional £10 for a cooked breakfast. Although the inclusive breakfast is great also. ||||Certainly be nice to stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights with my husband and daughter in June and we were very happy. Our room was certainly comfortable, clean and spacious and looked out over the lake and the fields with cows.... a lovely way to wake up. Breakfast was taken outside next to the delightful fishing lake in a well kept garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I could have stayed longer and would certainly visit again.

Stayed just the one night. Had a family room with travel cot and a separate double. All was as expected, rooms warm clean and everything we needed. Breakfast included was continental and plentiful. Hosts helpful and a good stay overall. Happy to recommend.

Having read some of the previous reviews I was a little sceptical but my stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Rooms are a little 'bijou' (as someone has previously described them) but they are ample for a couple of nights/days. They are clean & have obviously just gone through some recent decoration.
Friendly, welcoming staff & a relaxing atmosphere.

Booked maskill Hill on the Saturday morning and was a bit sceptical due to the low price compared to the rest of places, but what a gem of a place, me and my partner was in awe of the grounds and how private and personal, it was, the host Joe was and absolutely lovely woman with a real down to earth personality and made us feel welcome from start to finish, would recommend here to anybody and will 100% be going back before the summer is out
