We stayed in The luxury shepherds hut for 1 night (should have been 2 but work called) we would have gladly stayed longer ! The site was easy to find and check in was effortless. There was a pub directly on the front of the site but unfortunately closed on the day we stayed if not we would have definitely used it as it looked lovely. In the hut itself we were very surprised as to what was included , oven, grill, hob, sink, toaster, kettle , even washing up utensils and liquid etc, a tv (although the channels didn’t work we were able to watch dvds which were provided) , books , maps (if we wanted to explore) , cards , dominoes , jigsaw , radio , infact too much to mention !! the chemical toilet was a god send not having to go out to the shared block in the middle of the night (which were very clean and I was happy to use at other times) . The log burner kept my husband happy for hours 🤣 again everything provided what we would need. There was a table and chairs outside for us to use and lovely views over neighbouring fields or over the private pond where our hut was situated. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, we have recommended it to friends who loved the photos we’ve shown them. Please ignore any negative reviews or comments some people are too picky and don’t understand that Glamping is a luxury form of camping ! Not a pristine 5star hotel stay. It’s relaxing , very well equipped and one of our favourite sites so far.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the 'family shepherds hut'. The shepherds hut was very quirky and suited the two of us really well. Might be a bit small for a family though. 30 minutes or so walk through fields to the Malvern hills. A few minutes drive from castlemorton church as well. There were only two toilets and showers (one for boys and one for girls) but it was clean and well kept. We would come again, thank you.

I have came back 3 times now and have booked again. One of my favorite places to stay

I have just stayed here over new year. It was such a nice and relaxful place to be and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Davina was super helpful and checked up on me via email which I appreciated.
The Shepard hut was super clean and warm, I packed things to keep me warm just in case but was not needed at all. You had everything you needed in the hut, although I couldn't work the right hob, it kept turning off but as I was by myself it wasn't much of a problem.
The only 2 things I think could be improved is
1) the curtains didn't cover the windows well which did make me uncomfortable at times because there was gaps at the side etc so bigger curtains would've been good
2) a dog wash station, other campsites I have been at had them and was great, having a very fluffy dog climbing the hills in December resulted in a very muddy dog. I used the hose on him which he didn't appreciate it being so cold... But couldn't of taken him in the hut so muddy.
I will definitely be back again and may come in summer as using the chairs and tables outside would be nice with how peaceful it was.
Thank you for a lovely stay over new year 😁

A friend, myself and the dog have just had a wonderful week in Broad Down Lodge (sleeps 3). It was spacious and warm and the sofas are really comfortable, as are the beds. The shower was wonderfully powerful. The lodge was clean, warm and well appointed. The site is glorious as it’s so small and quiet. The birdsong was amazing and the little path Out the back leading to an open field was a godsend for the dog. The area itself is a fabulous place for mooching around historic towns and walking of course. We treated ourselves to a splendid, posh meal out at the nearby The Inn at Welland too. I’ll be booking Broad Down Lodge again for sure. Thanks Davina!

This was our second visit and this time we brought our son daughter-in-law and grandchildren., ages 7&5 . We had the most amazing time . Yes the huts are quite basic but that’s the point to do something different. We had the luxury , family and rustic huts between 6 adults & the 2 children and a dog and they were excellent.||Everybody on the site were really friendly and helpful and the Duke of York pub very friendly and welcoming, there was a birthday party on and we were invited to join in.||All the amenities are there and the huts are totally charming, our grandchildren want to live there !||So all of us would definitely recommend (even Archie the dog who loved it ) 😁😁

Another excellent chilled weekend spent here, it's no wonder we keep going back several times every year. Pub on site is nice and friendly, good choice of drinks and very nice food. Several places near by to visit.

A nice setting for the site, next to the pub and with great views. It's in the middle of the countryside so nice and peaceful. Unfortunately when we arrived there's no instructions or anyone to greet you so you just have to find things out for yourself. We had to go and ask other people staying there how we found the places we were staying and check in. There's basic instructions in the caravans and huts as to how things operate but we weren't expecting to be woken at 3 o clock in the morning by an awful screeching noise that turned out to be the water pump when the water is running low. The toilet block and showers is really very basic, the lock on the shower door was broken, there were a few plates supplied but only one bowl, a broken brush and dustpan so you can't clean up, a broken old mirror on the wall, the bedroom door kept coming off the roller. We won't be going back.
