The jerk was great could of done with more gravy though. The mango chilli wings were very flavoured.

Calamari was delicious, however the jerk tofu was a little underwhelming. Then again, I got it delivered so might have something to do with freshness being compromised, but there wasn't much jerk flavor on the tofu or any at all. Portion for the whole dish was good, but their other portion sizes tend to be quite small. Other than that a solid place to try some Caribbean food.

I have finally found a better than decent Caribbean food take away in my area. I ordered the curry goat with coconut rice and peas... delicious! The plantains were perfect. The food was delivered quickly too. I am so happy I found this place!

Visited mama Jacq's Wembley box park two weeks ago and very impressed, First time visiting box park Wembley , was walking around looking at all the food bars, walked out ended up on mc Donald's, went back to box park a lady sits next to me with wings and chips, my eyes were fixed, asked where she purchased, I walked straight over, asked the gentleman the different meals availabe, I wanted everything,
In the end I brought wings and chips it tasted as good as it looked, the portion size was great!! I will definitely go back and try other meals, I dont usually eat Caribbean style food out of my home but it was good, me nah lie..

I enjoyed their jerk chicken, rice & peas, coleslaw and plantain at Gusto Food Festival in Ashby Dear La Zouch and was blown away! The meat was succulent and flavourful, the marinade was delicious and their homemade hot sauce had just the right level of spice (a lot). Highly recommended!

Last month we used Mama Jacq’s for the second time hosting a party in our garden. I can only say it was again absolutely outstanding. I really don’t know where to start or end the accolades and literally all our friends and family were raving about it. So starting with the food, curried goat, jerk chicken, chic pea curry, rice and peas and maccy pie all to die for. And plentiful portions everybody going back for seconds. Aesthetically the guys set up is brilliant and it really looked like we had our own Caribbean food emporium at the bottom of the garden. And finally the service whether via Chantal with the booking process or on the day where the amazing Mama J and her incredibly polite boys are just a dream to do business with in fact I now consider them personal friends. I am sure many of our friends will use them again, we certainly will. So if your ever thinking of some Caribbean catering for an event, don’t hesitate to contact these guys, they are a true treasure and you will surely be writing a similar review after

We hired Mama Jacq's for a large work garden party of over 200 people and they couldn't have been better! The food was so yummy and they had a long queue all afternoon as they were so popular. Not only was the food great, but the service was too. Thank you Mama Jacq!
