I stayed at Mama Shelter for a weekend to celebrate my birthday.
They staff was friendly, and the location is good. I personally really like that area close to Broadway Market and Regent’s Canal.

The rooms are small, but you know that when you book the hotel. I like the quirky decor, and the amenities.

They have a restaurant/bar with options for breakfast and snack. I ended up having two small plates for lunch. They were good, while being a little pricey. Was a bit surprised with how much oil dripped from my chips when I put them in a plate.

There is a nice desk for you to work from.
I only have two wishes:
1) wish there was a way to keep the bathroom door open, it gets a bit steamy in there and at least in my room the vent didn’t work.
2) wish there was a spot to put luggage in the room so it’s easier to go through clothes etc. I personally don’t put dirty luggage on the clean bed. ?

I would come back and visit other locations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and my experience was truly exceptional. Initially, I was apprehensive about entering an unfamiliar place, but my concerns were quickly alleviated by the warm and reassuring welcome from the Colombian employee at the front desk. His kindness and understanding made me feel much safer and set a positive tone for my entire stay.

The hotel itself is incredibly wonderful and exudes a homely atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall ambiance is inviting and cozy. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness further enhanced my experience, making it a memorable and enjoyable stay. One spent one night but was an amazing experience. Bed super comfy and spacious. Room was very trendy and decorated beautifully.
Eat in the restaurant downstairs for pretty much every meal lol
Was greeted and served by Cristina and was tested like royalty! Highlight of the day, breakfast buffet!!! A must do when saying here! Xxx

if you are searching for a cozy, young, clean, creative hotel at a reasonable price i recommend to take Mama Shelter in consideration as a great choice for a place to stay. the area is not so central, but still nice, near the canal and good to move around in the city. the service is also very good.

This hotel is absolutely perfect. The lobby area is so stylish, the staff are friendly, it’s really close to the market with loads of cool coffee places near by. The best thing is the breakfast - there is literally anything you could want, I looked forward to it each morning. Will definitely be coming back!

The hotel is immaculate, really quirky in its design, and the staff were amazing; super helpful, and really friendly. The room was spacious, furnished to a high standard but also kept its individuality in its design choice, and we loved it! Bed was comfy, and it wasn’t particularly noisy considering our room overlooked the street. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with free wash stuff etc, an and the waterfall shower was lovely.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was great.

Had a great time at Mama Shelter Shoreditch! Amazing atmosphere in the restaurant downstairs and clean comfortable bedrooms! Was within a good distance of All Points East festival and Brick Lane, so had plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Only downside is the one dirty teaspoon left in our room, which is a minor issue when the rest of the experience was perfect. Great for the price and would definitely return if i'm in the area again!

The location was good and easy to get everywhere in the city between walking Shoreditch to traveling to the botanical gardens in Richmond. The staff was nice, welcoming and helpful when needed. The general vibe of the Hotel was good and the seating areas at the entrance of the hotel were cozy and inviting. Thanks
