Situated in a quiet cul de sac the b & b is away from the continuous stream of visitors to Robin Hoods Bay but a 2 minute walk to the top of the very steep descent to the harbour. The rooms looked freshly decorated and everything was very clean. Steve the owner could not be more helpful and accommodating. Myself and my sister had different dietary requirements which Steve went over and above to provide. The full English breakfast was lovely with toast made with homemade bread. Nothing negative to say and I would highly recommend this b&b and it’s hosts. Thanks for a lovely short break!

Me and my daughter have just returned from our third visit and each time it has been perfect. The b&b is lovely, clean and has a lovely attention to details such as the pretty seaside bed cushions and the fresh milk is a nice touch. The breakfast is very nice and set us up for the day. Katy and Stephen are very welcoming and lovely hosts we have always been made to feel very welcome.

Very friendly hosts. Well-appointed room and we slept well. Bit on the small side but there was room under the bed for our walking rucksacks so it wasn't a problem. Amazing to have a safe in the room for our valuables (not that we had any when walking Coast to Coast!). All visitors needs had been considered. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food.

Steve and Katy made my four night stay a real pleasure. A relaxed atmosphere, lovely room, comfortable bed, good en-suite and great breakfasts set me up perfectly for the various activities in this beautiful part of England, followed by great evening meals with the family (camping nearby) at the Grosvenor restaurant just down the road. - Highly recommended!

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Cleveland Way. A very warm welcome on arrival and we were shown to a beautiful room on the first floor. Everything was absolutely spot on, clean and every little detail thought of. The bathroom was super and very clean. Of all the ten places we stayed on our walk this was the best when it comes to all round quality and attention to detail yet it wasn't the most expensive either. Breakfast next morning was delicious and plentiful which set us up nicely for our walk to Scarbourgh. Would highly recommend The Manning Tree if staying in the area.

This been bout our 4th visit to the Manning tree RHB ,This year booked for us by my son an wife for Norman an myself 70ths birthdays .We had three nights in the fabulous Captain's room. Lovly room spotlessly clean personal touches ,an katy an Steve are wonderful hosts nothing to much trouble. The Breakfasts are so delicious an everything so freshly cooked with a fab varied menu. Hopefully back again next year, can't go wrong with a stay at the manning tree Many thanks once more to Katy an Steve, kind regards Christine and Norman xx😎😎🍷👍

Very comfortable and delightful accommodation. Able to park on drive. Hosts are very pleasant. Lots of choice for breakfast and delicious. Robin hood bay is a quaint village to walk around with a fairly steep climb from the bay. Good coastal walk. Plenty of local pubs in vicinity. Would highly recommend the Manning Tree b&b. Would definately stay again if visiting the area.

We didnt book this place ourselves as we were on an organised trip so booked via a 3rd party. The room was small but spotlessly clean and well appointed. Bathroom was tiny and you could hear next door shower and people coughing etc which was annoying. It was pleasant enough and near to the town centre but probably not somewhere we would have booked ourselves. I am not keen on sitting round a big table for breakfast with dirty dishes and table being wiped while we are still eating. But I can see that I am out of step with other visitors. Each to his own.
