Stayed just the one night as attending a wedding nearby. Lovely warm welcome, generous sized room and ensuite and excellent breakfast. Beautiful countryside surroundings, and great to see the dairy herd in the barn. Tracy and Simon are kind and helpful hosts. We know we will be back next time we visit Bath - far better than the faceless city centre hotels.

Our 5th visit to traditional Manor Farm and Tracy and Simon are as welcoming and friendly as always. Convenient countryside location (1/4 hour from central Bath), super breakfasts with produce from nearby Newton Farm, use of guest kitchen and living room with TV (none in bedroom). Everything spotless, amazing flowers, views of cows and green fields on this Duchy of Cornwall farm. We usually stay for a week with no end of interesting outings: Bath museums, exhibitions and guided walks, the 6 mile Skyline walk, concerts and theatre, Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace, Lacock Abbey and Photography Museum. A welcome change of pace โ€“ we keep recommending this haven to all our friends.

A traditional country B&B on a working country farm. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and include an ensuite. The traditional English breakfast supplied is generous and well prepared. The hosts (Tracey and Simon) are friendly and very helpful. A perfect place to stay just 5 minutes away from Bath.

This 17th century working farm is a joy! Cows in the barn walk past on their way to the hilly pasture. Spotlessly clean and so dark and quiet at night. The breakfast is magnificent with china and crystal. Tracy and Simon are wonderful hosts and it was a treat to stay in their home. A 10 min drive to the park and ride into Bath; very convenient! Would love to visit again!

We returned for the 6th time to Tracy and Simon's welcoming Manor Farm, situated in peaceful green hills west of Bath. We love the spacious Georgian building, ample tasty breakfasts, Tracy's friendly chat, the use of a living room and kitchen (for teas and coffees), everything spotlessly clean, watching the cows in the barn, the convenient Globe pub for dinner, nearby Newton St Loe farm shop and being just 12 minutes from Bath, with its long history and huge variety of shops. The farm is a great base for visiting Dyrham Park, Lacock, Bradford on Avon and Wells, with canals, boats and country walks.||||Just as a personal favour, Simon generously satisfied our curiosity by giving us a distanced tour of the Duchy of Cornwall farm. He explained the challenges of a family-run dairy and beef business, ensuring high animal welfare, health, cleanliness and yield, and growing his own animal feed using crop rotation.||||If it is hard work feeding a family and cleaning up after them, keeping them safe, healthy and happy, imagine what it is like with a herd of 180 cows โ€“ and with only 3 or 4 people working dawn to dusk. And still a bottle of water costs more than a pint of milk!||||It brought home to us "townies" just how much sheer hard work and long hours go into producing our high-standard milk and beef.||||The more we understand about how quality food is produced (which is the essential ingredient of good health), the less likely we are to take farmers for granted.||||We look forward to our next visit and would recommend Manor Farm Corston to anyone wishing for a peaceful retreat with access to all that Bath has to offer.
