One of the best places I've stayed. I was there for one night and was blown away by the attention to detail. Small things like the shower head pointing away from you when you turn on the shower so you don't get sprayed, proper porcelain cups in the room, lovely selection of Taylor's teas and a kettle that does adjustable temperatures so you can, for example have your green tea at 80 degrees. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was wonderful. As a lone, female guest, I felt incredibly safe as you have to scan your card to get through doors before you get to the rooms. The temperature control in the room was great. I like a cool room for sleeping and it was perfect! I could go on and one. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the cappuccino was actually frothy, not just a big cup of milk. Thank you so much!

Yesterday’s visit to The Manor House was our first visit and we will definitely return. The whole experience was a delight from walking up the drive and seeing the impressive building for the first time and to the fountain in the grounds. A very good first impression.| |On entering The Clock Tower Lounge I immediately noticed the beautiful decor and the calm feeling of the building. We were warmly greeted by a male member of staff and soon seated at our table. I wish I’d got his name as he was an absolute credit to your team. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was so polite and friendly, just the good customer service I love to receive. Another male member of your team also waited on us and he too was so nice and both were professional. I didn’t visit the bathroom whilst I was there but my husband did and he was impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the gents bathroom.| |I’ve had afternoon tea many times before in different establishments but yours was by far the most superior for quality and taste. If I had to make one suggestion for improvement is perhaps to include one more savoury item and one less sweet item. This is just my own personal taste and preference as I prefer savoury over sweet and I find on every afternoon tea I’ve had that I’d prefer less sweet items.| |It is my 60th birthday in December 2025 and I’m already planning to book at least one celebration meal at The Manor House.| |Thank you for a lovely experience.

Wow, still in awe. From the moment we stepped foot in the Manor House in January 2022, we fell in love. The place visually is just stunning and the few staff I met that day were wonderfully helpful.
We enjoyed planning the wedding the following 2 years, and got to meet more and more people. They got a grasp of our vision and made a real effort to get to know us on a personal level.
Fast forward to our wedding on Friday 16th August 2024. The greatest day of our entire lives. The team worked endlessly to create our vision perfectly, they were there solely for us and every single guest. Keeping our drinks full and supplying the most beautiful food! Nothing was too much trouble at all. Simply stunning, flawless and a dream. Every single guest commented on the venue and the staff, and to top it off every single room we booked for those staying with us was gorgeous, clean and unique. We will truly miss visiting Manor House Lindley and we cannot even come close to giving them the thank you they deserve

Stopped in for a cocktail as part of a Baby shower afternoon. The main bar was really busy, so they welcomed us into the cellar bar even though it wasn't quite open yet.

Had a beautiful cocktail and everyone in the party really enjoyed their drinks too.

This was our 4th outing to this superb restaurant for Sunday lunch. Our friends were as impressed as we were once again. The food was outstanding, the service exemplary and we could not have been treated any more like VIP’s by Francis and his team. The entire experience was indeed just wonderful and we will be back again very soon. Thank you everyone. You’re true professionals.

I recently attended my auntie's wedding at Manor House Lindley, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its stunning elegance and charm. The staff were exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The reception was equally impressive. Every aspect of the venue, from the cozy lounges to the stylish bar, contributed to an unforgettable experience. This truly made my auntie's wedding day magical. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place that combines elegance, excellent service, and an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. Five stars all the way!

Superb experience with excellent food in a lovely atmosphere ||We visited the Lantern Room restaurant with 2 friends from France. The welcome, the sensitive treatment of our various allergies and the service overall was excellent. All the courses were of the highest quality and our friends from France said the food surpassed all 3 of the Michelin starred restaurants they had visited recently. It is not cheap but given the quality of food and service it remained good value as a special occasion meal out.

What a beautiful hotel! from arriving to leaving everything was wonderful. The staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the area and the hotel. The rooms are well laid out and have everything you can think of, from the coffee maker, kettle, steam cleaner hairdryer, all you would need for a cosy comfortable stay. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and the duvet and pillows are feather, but I am sure if asked they would provide ones with another filling. The bathroom was a sight to behold and again everything you would need for your stay. The decor is amazing right through the hotel. We did wait quite a while for our toasted teacakes from the kitchen coffee shop, but that didn't really spoil anything. Its a beautiful period property made perfect! can't wait to return.
