My wife and I had a celebratory meal with friends in nearby Sleaford so we booked Mareham House and we were not disappointed! As we got out of the car we were greeted by two extremely friendly border collies who after some encouragement from my wife came over to say hello! We were then warmly greeted and shown to our room by the proprietor. She showed us where everything was and made us feel at home. She took our breakfast orders and asked what time we would want breakfast. The room was perfect! It had a double bed, ample space to store our clothes, a lovely selection of teas/coffees/hot cholocates/cakes/ biscuits even a hot lemon! There was a tassimo machine as well with beautiful V&A cups. The ensuite looked brand new and was impeccably clean with luxurious H2K toiletries. The room had ample towels, robes and slippers, we felt truly pampered. The following morning breakfast was a delight, my wife had cereal, yogurts and fruit and I had the full English which was amazing! The plate was so full I couldn't finish it all! I would recommend Mareham House without hesitation and are looking forward to our next get together so we can stay here again! Thank you for your brilliant hospitality.

Me and my fiance stayed here 2 nights. We arrived in the dark around 7pm.when we pulled up we were greeted by the lovely couple that run the b and b. Naren the owner asked if we needed help with tge luggage and they both kindly showed us around the house. A glorious comfy guest room with a TV and plenty of books. The dining area which was lovely and spacious and then the room we are staying in. It was absolutely fantastic. The cleanliness was outstanding, our room was spacious and comfy and cosy. Dressing gowns provided, plenty of coffee, tea and biscuits. The bed was comfortable. We were asked what time we would like breakfast and if we would like the full English. I thought that this was a brilliant idea because when we arrived in the dining room there was so much choice we were asked if we wanted toast and coffee and we promptly given breakfast. It was out of this world. Plenty if it and all cooked to perfection. The only thing that let our stay down was the warmth of the actual house. It was freezing! But as soon as we spoke to Naden about this he put the heating on and it was warm within minutes. It didn't spoil our stay and we will definately be going back in the new year!!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely couple of nights at Mareham House on February. The house is very out of the way but makes for a very peaceful place to stay, and there are plenty of nice places to eat in nearby villages. We were the only guests at the time and felt very spoilt! Breakfast was a feast and we had plenty of tea/coffee in our rooms, including a fancy coffee machine. All-in-all a very comfortable stay which was definitely value for money. We will be back!

on arrival , the grounds around the house are beautiful , so peaceful . we were disappointed however with the house , it was dark and needed a bit of an upgrade. we met the lady of the house after knocking for quite a long time and then having to go and look for someone. the house smelt very strong of curry and was very offputting, the room was clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee and toiletries in the bathroom. we were the only guests and were told that the owners wouldn't be there in the morning but the ladys brother would serve breakfast. he was very pleasant and helpful.

Good location for Sleaford and Lincoln, great rooms with beautiful furniture and super bathrooms. Really nice breakfasts and you couldn't ask for a more helpful and pleasant couple running the establishment. We were made to feel very welcome nothing was to much trouble. This was our second visit and won't be our last!

Have family in the area and this was a good experience in every way.Everything you could want for a comfortable stay.The room had a sledbed which was very comfortable and treats provided on the tea tray.No problems at all....would definitely use again

What a lovely comfortable place to stay. Very clean and tidy. All our needs were met with excellent customer service nothing was to much trouble. I would definitely stay there again in the future

I was surprised to learn on arrival that this has just changed hands|The previous owners had established a very lovely B&B|It is though still s lovely B&B |The new owners are very welcoming the rooms clean and breakfast was excellent They welcome and follow through feedback and deserve the chance to continue as a lovely B&B|Just to note best to phone for directions rather than rely on Sat Nav
