Bought some eggs from this store today (2nd May) and when I got home I realised they were reduced. Noticed that the best before was 23rd of April! I appreciate they were reduced but these are over a week older than the best before date! Surely not even safe to eat. I acknowledge it's not a "use by" date but at over a week older than the best before date, these should definitely not be sold to customers. Clearly could cause real illness, quite outrageous. So, so shocked! Really disappointed.

Convenience store open until late.

Regional produce fairly priced but otherwise items are more expensive than the supermarkets in Morningside.

Good choice of produce and they stock most things you’d need to pop to the local shop for. Some of the produce has Co-op labelling.

Wines and beers are expensive. This branch of Margiotta sells their famous ice cream.

Staff are friendly.

Really poor show.
They sell a lot of stuff that is very close to - or - out of date.
I bought eggs today ON their best before date.
Generally stock levels are poor and they actually sell food that’s out of date at prices not commensurate with such inferior product.
Margiotta was always expensive but the quality was good it had a hint of deli about it.
This one is turning into a pretty rubbish convenience store.

Essentials, open until late. Prices are higher than supermarkets, which is expected. Nice, clean with friendly staff. Good bread from Andante bakery in Morningside on sale in store.

Just overcharged me by £4. A constant feature of these stores...funny how they always make mistakes in their favour

Very clean and tidy corner shop. I really like it as it is the only place I could find in the area that sells my favourite vanilla milk. 🙂
