Hands down the best cheeses in London, sourced directly from France. The place to go for French products in London, be it fresh baguetted (baked every few hours, which is perfect before dinner), cheese, terrine, fois gras, wine. The price is not cheap but justified by the quality.

Lovely shop. Very French.
Varied dry goods selection. Well stocked. Beautiful produce too.
And you can sit in this pretty little spot outside, have a coffee or more and watch the world go by
I've been coming here for years and it's still the same great place.

Marilou is a charming French-style café and supermarket with a lovely terrace outside, lined with colourful racks of fresh fruit and vegetables. Scattered among them are quaint café tables that catch the sun beautifully throughout the morning and afternoon – perfect for a relaxed coffee or light bite.

Inside, the supermarket offers an appealing selection of French staples: a well-stocked cheese counter, an impressively large Haribo section, and a variety of other authentic products that give the place a genuine continental feel.

I tried the Jambon Beurre – a classic French baguette filled with cooked ham, butter, and cornichons. While the baguette itself was decent, it was slightly on the dry side and could have benefited from a more generous spread of butter. The ham was fine, and the tangy crunch of the cornichons added a pleasant contrast to the usual sandwich fare.

Service was quick – the sandwich was prepared and wrapped for takeaway in under two minutes. Overall, it was a refreshing alternative to the typical local sandwich options, evoking a little taste of France right here in the city.

Best juices this side of London 🤩 The Jean Gabin was extremely potent. Food medicine at its finest. Don’t bother with Joe and the Juice around the corner. Also the proprietor is very sweet! Thank you

I bought 2 tomatoes and paid £6 which is fine. They turned out to be not fresh and not tasty at all. I feel that some vegetables they sell are not premium or high quality; just overpriced.

Otherwise good selection of imported snacks.
