My son and I recently stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Carol and Roger were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was lovely, it was adequate in size. Breakfast was fantastic - everything you could ask for. We were even dropped off at the railway station by Roger - very useful! I would certainly recommend this B&B to others and hope to return another time.

Very friendly welcome, lovely cosy room, very clean. The hosts were great. It is one Road back from seafront so very convenient and a short stroll into town. We were attending Goodwood the next day & it was only a 20 minute journey. As we checked out at 6.30am too early for breakfast, Carol made us a 'packed lunch' we thought that was a wonderful touch...& the sandwiches went down a treat later in the morning! Thoroughly recommend this b&b.

I arrived after a long drive and was welcomed by a lovely warm welcome from Carol who took my bag upstairs, told me about breakfast and the wifi. The room was clean and very nice with tv and plugs for charging phones. The bed was very comfortable and i had a good nights sleep. In the morning it was another warm welcome and what would l like for breakfast. The breakfast was great and very filling. Would recommend any one to stay there.

We stayed here for 3 nights, not knowing the area at all and basically struck gold. The owners, Carol & Roger do everything and anything to make you feel at home. The rooms have everything you could ask for - including a hot water bottle in the drawer!! Breakfast was lovely, and again, you only have to ask if there is anything specific you want. Having lived in the area for so long, they will happily suggest local attractions to visit and we had a very busy 3 days, but certainly got to know the area. Would definitely recommend this B&B and will hopefully be going back

I had a really wonderful two weeks with Carol and Roger. They are two really friendly people and such fun to be around. NOTHING is too much trouble and they will do everything possible to make sure your stay is comfortable 😄...
My room was extremely immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. I'd had back and foot surgery in the last six months but I really did sleep well - because the mattress was so good.
Bathroom - again - was immaculate. Very easy to give a good review - Carol and Roger deserve it! I will definitely be back ... Thank you for a wonderful stay xxx

This is one of the first times, I have stayed at a B&B, butit was a nice experience. The twin room was small but with a large and modern bathroom. Nice breakfast and very friendly hosts. Situated only one block from sea promenade in Littlehampton - ashort drive from lovely Arundel Castle.

All in all, the primary points of a B&B are good here: clean, nice breakfast, comfortable if small room etc. The room has a small problem, common to many houses converted to B&Bs, in that the toilet flushes through a "grinder" and the sink tends to glug on emptying - OK for us but might be a problem for light sleepers.||As for the cats, if you love them then this is the place for you. If you have a problem with them, like allergy, then you should stay away. They have their own cat and are a focus for local strays. The house cat decided to jump unbidden onto my wife's knees and stuck its claws into her in the process.||We had a problem on arrival as there was a note telling us to phone a mobile number. We rang, using two phones, eight times over nearly an hour, the phone ringing but no answering service. Having hung around the B&B we decided to walk out to the sea front. Apparently the hosts were spending some social time in the nearby pub - nothing wrong with that but the phone was obviously inaudible in a pocket. We were eventually successful as the host left the pub to head home and now, being outside, could hear the phone. His immediate reaction was disbelief that we'd phoned so many times, suggesting either that we hadn't or that the phone was faulty. Having eventually discovered all the missed calls, only then did we get a low-key apology.||Tips to B&B owners: 1 - assume the customer is being factual - try "Terribly sorry that happened - I'll look into it"; 2 - if you rely on a mobile phone to manage your business, make sure you can hear it (e.g. take it out of your pocket, then other people might hear it if you don't).
