New year package absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived we have had the most wonderful time. The food has been amazing best we ever had at a hotel the chef and his team can’t do enough for you. Entrainment was great , from games to singers it has been so much fun and such a lovely atmosphere. |All staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. |We will definitely be making this a regular thing for new year. Massive thank you to Rosie and all her staff at the Marsham court hotel. We have had the best time and will be back Donna & Nicky D

The staff were welcoming and pleasant throughout the stay. They clearly liked pets. The room was basic and not really great value but met our needs. However, we felt the parking charge at £15 per day was not fair on top of the cost of the room which was higher than one would expect for a hotel which is dated and needed work to bring it up to scratch. We only used the car park overnight so on that basis we felt the charge excessive.

For New Year’s Eve we booked as part of a family group staying at Marsham Court Hotel. We enjoyed excellent hospitality from the friendly and attentive staff, and comfortable rooms beyond our expectations. Meals were of a deliciously high standard and the entertainment after dinner had us all dancing along. We can’t wait to book again for New Year.

Went for the evening with friends who were staying there. They raved about the place especially the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. And the big bow window in their room overlooking the sea. The bar is nice and had a good singer in the evening even though midweek out of season. We had dinner in the main restaurant which was good quality, the cod being a perfectly cooked loin, and excellent value

Did not stay, but went for Christmas lunch only. Shared with 3 coachloads of older people, who enjoyed singing Roll out the Barrel & Vera Lynne type songs, accompanied by an organ, all through lunch.
Food was lovely, the staff were wonderful, smiling and super efficient, but will not go for Christmas day again.

This is a lovely hotel, warm, clean and cosy. The food is very good to excellent and the staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. Location also great, just a short walk from the beach and town centre. We will definitely pick this hotel when we next visit Bournemouth.

The Marsham Court hotel is ideally located behind the Russell Coates Museum, close to the popular Pavilion Theatre, main shopping area & within walking distance of the lower gardens to the pier, Oceanarium & Promenade.
Our clean, refurbished, spacious twin bedded room was tastefully furnished with a flat screen TV, fridge, fan, kettle & supply of tea, coffee & biscuits.
The only problem was ventilation & controlling the room temperature. A good fan was provided but when it's warm in Bournemouth, it can become uncomfortably humid.
Having stayed over weekends at different hotels on several occasions, temperature control has always been tricky in the Summer.
The unisex hand & body wash & lotion provided were fabulous!
The friendly staff were really helpful, courteous & efficient.
We enjoyed our main meal from their light menu. The chicken kebabs were delicious, served on a skewer with Mediterranean Veg, a pita bread & a tasty Greek side salad garnished with the most delicious, creamy feta cheese. Definitely highly recommended!
The modern, redecorated lounge was a perfect place to relax, chat to friends or play a board game.
Light meals, drinks, refreshments & snacks were ordered from the bar counter & served to the table by a pleasant member of staff.
Coffee was great, better than most hotels.

!Warning! *BED BUGS*
My mum (a retired pensioner) has returned from a stay at this hotel covered in bed-bug bites. The fact that she was moved rooms is of little relief unfortunately, as to have that many bites after only a few hours in that bed show how deep the infestation must have been. Needless to say her mini pre-Christmas festive coach holiday with some new friends was ruined. So were all her nice new Christmas jumpers. Dry cleaned to miniature size! I'm terrified that she might have had some passengers in her bag that have returned to her home (her house is only back to normal after a roof replacement and a ceiling collapse - and all within 12 months of Dad's death). Bed bugs are incredibly hard to irradicate. The hotel did offer some form of credit, I understand, but having had a run-in with bed bugs before, it is just not that simple to fix. A warning for other travelers and holiday-makers.
