We stayed at this very misleading and poor standard of an establishment last weekend and found that on leaving we were given a bill for £60 . ||It is advertised online for £24 per night for the room only . We made it clear on arrival that we didn't want breakfast in the morning and yet they still charged us for this when leaving . The landlady questioned her own website and then agreed to take the bill down to £50 ! She proceeded to inform us that she thought we would be having breakfast even though we made it clear we didn't want this the evening before . Even if it was £24 per person she still over charged us and didn't even apologise for the over priced and falsely advertised website price ! She then quickly took the cash and shut the door and locked it behind us !||Beside the false price on the website and the excessive bill !it also felt like we were sleeping in the middle of a car boot sale ! The bed was uncomfortable and the kettle had limescale so we didn't even drink the coffee . ||We planned to use this B&B on a regular basis because we visit family but now we will be glamping up the road ! ||A budget hotel is lower priced than this !

Tired, dated, run-down and generally one to avoid unless you have no other options.
Lady was friendly and English breakfast was OK, but facilities are poor and she does like a sign (or ten) explaining the rules.
Kept awake all night by leaky gutter splattering water onto my window ledge.

The owners of this B&B were very friendly. However there were some slight drawbacks such as payment is by cash, it is an "Oldy Worldy" property & there are no en suite facilities but there was a washbasin in the small bedroom. The breakfast was excellent & cooked to order||Ideal location for walking/cycling/touring breaks
