A good little links style set up, for practicing irons, wedges and putting. Has a consistent similar wind direction around 3 to 5pm most days, and the owner keeps the fairways and roughs relatively maintained. A good practice by doing circuit to kill a couple of hours from total beginners to skilled players alike.

Great course for a starter and at £5 is great value for money. Would like to see a bit of maintenance work (ie tee areas to be moved now and then to re-seed and a couple of holes need the hole moving to another part of the green to allow repair as there is no grass around the hole), but this is just minor and doesn't take away from the fact it is a great starters course.

5 stars for the exact amount of pounds it cost me to play. You simply cannot grumble for £5. Great bit of fun for getting the short game juices flowing. Will definitely be visiting again 👍⛳️🏌‍♂️

If the greens were a bit less bumpy I'd give it 5 stars, although the fairways I thought were still decent, it makes a change to doing pitch + putt and driving range, for the price it's a good enjoyable couple hours , defo gonna come here more often

Well, what’s not to like. Is it a championship standard course? Certainly not. Is it perfect for those starting out on their golf journey or trying out to see if it’s the sport for them? Definitely. Is it a fun 9 holes to practice your short and long play? Absolutely. The greens leave a lot to be desired, and it’s not the most challenging, but this is £5 for a round. And for that price I thought it was a lot better than I was expecting. Everyone on the course we met was also very friendly. First rate.

Brilliant little practice course ... perfect for beginners with 9 holes varying in length... all par 3 bar one par 4 .... very open and straight, nice an forgiving.

Perfect if you're looking to brush up on your iron work.

Pop £5 in the honesty box and you're ready to go round as many times as you like ⛳

Don't bother taking a putter as the greens are covered in worm casts. However, if you're bored of the driving range this is a much more enjoyable way to practice your iron / fairway wood / hybrid play. There's one hole that you can use a driver off the tee as well. Essentially it's a field with flags in, but does the job for £5.

Lovely course for what I need to practice and not feel the pressure of on lookers. A fairway and a green a couple of bunkers on each hole, Nothing Fancy just a feild, but to practice your driving and putting what more could you ask for its £5.00 go round as many times as you like.
Brilliant for me
