For a 3-star hotel, it's pretty decent. The location is between the town centre and the train centre.
The room looks a bit old and dated, but it's spacious, and the bed is comfortable. They had good tea/coffee making facilities with a coffee machine, a small TV, and a good wifi connection.
Our room had a bathroom with a bathtub, and the shower power was great. However, the toilet flush wasn't very powerful, and the inside was stained, and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain.
Having said that, it was a comfortable stay overall and does the job for a short-term stay. The staff were also relatively friendly and helpful. They let us store our luggage after we'd checked out too.

A decent budget hotel. Clean and quiet. Could do with a bit of maintenance as it's getting worn out. Free parking. Why do they need your address, phone, email, and photo ID. Then two signatures on Check in. Good tea and coffee in the room. Great location for the town centre and beach.

Brilliant family stay and Mary on reception was so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Clean room and we had an amazing night's stay. Will definitely be coming back! The bed was comfortable the kids slept all night too and the tea and coffee facilities were great too. Again a massive thank you to Mary for making the stay extra special.

I have stayed at Mayfair at the end of July beginning of August and I had a lovely stay. I have stayed on room 16 on the 1st floor. Upon entering the room i found the space cosy and inviting, the warm lilac colour created a comfortable atmosphere. The bed was comfortable for a night sleep after a long day on the beach. The room is equipped with all essentials, including and expresso coffee machine, which i very much enjoy. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. |For those who are planning to go on the beach, the distance is maximum 10 min walk. |Overall, my experience at Mayfair exceeded my expectations, and i would recommend it to other travellers looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Very pleasant stay at the Mayfair with friendly helpful staff. The hotel itself has only reopened recently and appeared to be a work in progress . There was no real dining and the breakfast was a limited “continental “ buffet. Our room was clean and comfortable but some of the furnishings were a little tired and need replacing. |All in all we had a nice stay and would return as it’s ideally located and has friendly staff. If they continue to update the premises and improve the services offered this will be a great place to stay

I am currently staying at the hotel and the service has been excellent friendly staff and comfy bed similar to beds and bed linen I’ve stayed at in 5 star establishments. I have stayed here previously 2 times before amenity’s are close by and beach is a short walk away. Free car parking for hotel stays as previously you had to pay for parking I understand the hotel is under new management and they have done a marvellous job the place has been refurbished and the hotel is spotless.

Very nice, friendly. Spanish women in reception very very nice. Close to the beach and town centre. Really recommended. Clean, nice atmosphere. There was no San Miguel in the bar but everything was ok. Free car park, first I stopped in town centre... £22 for a 24h nightmare.

We arrived early. The lovely young blonde girl said we could check in early. Was going to be room 24 but put in room 19. Taps in bathroom didn’t match. Mattress had nothing left to it it was so thin. Every time you sat on and get off toilet the lid of the toilet banged! My partner got in the shower in the morning. He took the shower out the holder to shower down. The shower head fell to pieces in his hand. |He told someone that worked there. They came had a look and said ok will get it sorted. We went out for the day. Me feeling smelly as I couldn’t have a shower! |We returned to the nice young friendly lady again asked if our showed was fixed. She was unsure so asked a member of staff that was with her. He made a call. Didn’t know if sorted. So followed us to our room to check. The shower hadn’t been sorted. Been gone 5 hours! The man who we think was either manager or owner. Didn’t introduce himself. Asked my partner how it broke. At this point he wasn’t being very friendly. Felt as though we were being blamed for breaking it. At this point I felt upset so told him we want a new room and told him about the other problems. He finally gave us the key for room 24. Our original room! The room was 100% better. Until we flushed the toilet. Very loud noise every time you flush. I know this isn’t something that can be helped. We went past reception to go out for the evening. This man was sat at reception. Didn’t even acknowledge us! The morning checking out he asked how our stay was. I told him we felt as though he blamed us for the shower head. All he did was kept nodding his head with a grin on his face and saying oh oh oh. No apology! Very very rude!
