Excellent accommodation in a house that feels like home. Jane and Matthew are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were brilliant, with locally sourced items, fresh fruit and homemade preserves including some delicious marmalade. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and quiet. Location was perfect for our purposes and is close to a great local walking trail.

We were attending a wedding at the Ridgeway Barns located nearby and stayed at Meadowbank House for 2 nights. Jane and Mathew are such attentive hosts and made our stay really comfortable. It is probably one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at. The rooms are of a good size and carefully furnished with an attention to details. The breakfast service was impeccable with Jane providing a choice of cooked eggs and freshly picked fruit from her garden. The surroundings are so picturesque and quintessentially Wiltshire with lovely walks around the location. Jane took a genuine interest in what we did during our stay. I think I may visit Wiltshire just to stay here again!! Best wishes to Jane and Mathew. Keep up the great work!

We are walking the Ridgeway and had a delightful stay at Meadowbank House B&B. Jane and Matthew were extremely welcoming and our room very comfortable. |Thankyou Jane for the shortbread in our room; the welcome tea and cake; booking dinner for us at the local pub to ensure we didn't miss out on dinner and the lovely breakfast that prepared us well for our day of walking. |Thank you so very much Jane and Matthew. We stayed for two nights in August whilst walking the Ridgeway. The location of Meadowbank is really convenient and Jane is a wonderful host! She gave us lifts, we were welcomed with tea and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of locally sourced food and was a great way to start each day. Two good pubs (the Village Inn in Liddington and the Bakers Arms in Badbury) provided food and drink in the evenings. We would certainly stay at Meadowbank again and recommend to others.

We stayed here before and after our first day walking the Ridgeway, and it was excellent in every way. Jane and Matthew are very thoughtful hosts: picking us up from the Way and taking us back, to save a walk on a busy road; providing cake on arrival, good choice at breakfast (smoked salmon, or Wiltshire bacon and sausage), and well planned packed lunches. We also paid them to take us to the start of the Way, rather than hunt down another B&B in that area which worked well for us. Very comfortable and highly recommended.

This is an absolutely beautiful B&B, ran by the two most helpful people it's been my pleasure to meet in my numerous travels. ||The setting is superb, the rooms are extremely comfortable, everything is just perfect. What really caps it off is how incredibly helpful, Matthew and Jane are. ||Nothing is too much trouble, they set out to help you in any way they can. Lovely people. ||100% recommended.

We had a fantastic stay. We were cycling the King Alfred's Way and our hosts were extremely helpful. They booked a table a the local pub for us before we turned up, they made space in their garage so we could store our bike securely and there was a lovely slice of homemade cake and a cup of tea.||The room was comfortable, clean and practical. The bed was really comfortable and we had access to their living room with, TV, books, and games.||The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade granola, fresh raspberries, and blueberries from the garden. The sausages and bacon were from the local butchers and the eggs from hens in the village.||Our hosts were delightful and couldn't have been more helpful.
