The food is incredible. Greg has thought about every detail and each dish has it's own story. From last season's cucumber, to the trout caught in a very specific location, at a certain time. Each dish is heaven and it's a tough job at the end to decide which is your favourite. Save yourself for dessert because that's an event in itself.

We had the Fine Wine Pairing which I also recommend. I could listen to Rebecca talk about wine all day. Again, there is a story of the producer, the vine and how something magical happened to make this wine so perfect.

The setting is intimate and the service excellent.

A really fantastic experience, not a disappointing course in the taster menu. The lobster was a particular highlight of mine. Staff were the right level of attentiveness.

Wonderful food. Fantastic service. Beautiful stay.

The service was second to none, all of the staff polite and worked like a well oiled machine making service absolutely seamless.

The food was beautiful and meticulously thought out with a wine pairing to match. Portions were the most generous I’ve had for a tasting menu and the quality of the produce was perfect. Hands down best dessert I’ve ever had. So many wonderful and well thought out touches outside of the food including the where the cutlery is put for each table.

The room was gorgeous, very comfy bed and pillows and extremely clean with everything that you could need for a relaxing stay.

Everyone was very accommodating, I’m a pescatarian and they adjusted the menu accordingly. We had a last minute emergency resulting in a bit of a delay for us being able to make dinner and the whole team were wonderful and very understanding.

Every detail has been thoughtfully and tastefully planned out. The food is exceptional — each course delivered by the talented team of chefs is introduced with passion at your table. The menu changes with the seasons and is always full of the bounties of Norfolk, with the team championing local producers.

Service is warm, charming and relaxed and Rebecca has introduced us to her thoughtfully considered edit of delicious wines. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the producers she supports are infectious.

Bravo team Meadowsweet, we have many joyful memories of our time spent here and look forward to many more to come!

Found this small place in the Harden’s guide- freshly awarded Michelin star. Lovely room, quality fittings and contemporary decor. Food was exceptional and clearly deserved of the recent award. Front of house and indeed all staff had a lovely friendly charm and humour. Only fault I could raise is the 2 lumps on my head from the very low ceilings from the lovely old building.. a top quality place by any standards from what I believe are morston hall prodiges, and it shows! Thanks for the lovely stay

We had an amazing time here in the Meadowsweet restaurant. We parked up in Budgens car park (free after 6.30pm). The restaurant is right next door. This is a tasting menu experience for about 20 covers. Everyone eats the same course at roughly the same time. Each dish is brought out by the chefs and expertly explained. It is a lovely intimate atmosphere with some stunning food that we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to everyone.

Last night we again had the utmost pleasure of enjoying a wonderful dining experience at Meadowsweet. The atmosphere so relaxed, the chefs and front of house staff are so friendly and obviously passionate about their craft.
The food gets better every time we are fortunate enough to visit.
Where is that second star!!!

The Meadowsweet offers sublime food, attentive and friendly service, with comfortable and well appointed rooms. What's on offer here is a showcase of great hospitality in all regards; they are clearly very worthy of a Michelin star. We very much look forward to visiting again and I would recommend this as one of the best places to dine and stay in Norfolk.

I visited with my partner, for my birthday. We opted for the dine and stay, which was very reasonably priced.

The food was all simply delicious; the roast hispi cabbage memorably so. The wine pairings were all good matches and a joy to drink. We were left feeling truly stuffed, so it was good to only have a short stagger up the stairs to bed. Breakfast was equally excellent, albeit we struggled to do it and the brilliant hospitality justice as we were still pretty full from the night before!

It is worth noting that there is no parking on-site, but there is plenty nearby - there are a number of spaces at the end of Pound Close opposite the restaurant.
