Just had 3 days 2 nights stay with Janet and Pete, family here from SA to meet up with rest of family, what a lovely place and two lovely people, food was really great, love this type of accommodation, made so welcome, best ever. Lots of return quests, cannot wait to go back.

I’ve been staying here since 2016. It is my go to place for accommodation in the area. There’s always a warm welcome and Pete and Janet have become friends. Quiet comfortable and clean, with great showers. If there’s a chance of an evening meal then take the opportunity Pete is a fantastic cook, the full breakfast is definitely recommended

What a great place. We were coming for a big family wedding in the area and needed a place for 15 family. This was superb. We all met there and had a good night after a hectic wedding day. Breakfast was cooked from scratch and offered everything you would want in s good English breakfast. Service was lovely and very efficient. Janet and Pete were perfect hosts. If you get a chance stay here. Highly recommend

This bed & Breakfast was the best. Janet & Peter were the perfect hosts myself and my friends were made so welcome.|Peter catered for our party of 6 with an evening meal. The home made meals very generous as was breakfast.|The rooms were very clean and comfortable.|Already booked for next year.|A very pleasant enjoyable stay.

We are two pensioners and have been visiting this accommodation for the past 7 years. We have stayed at numerous other bed and breakfasts in Spalding over the last 27 years but cannot beat this one for cleanliness, friendliness and value. Some accommodation in the town centre are noisy especially at at night time. We know this one is consistently good so do not shop around. Very friendly and Janet and Pete cannot do enough for us. The breakfasts are always very tasty and keeps us going throughout the day. It is a nice spot to be in because it is is in the countryside so is quiet. The River Welland walks are not far away and the A16 is at the end of the road. We will continue visiting this accommodation whilst we are fit enough. It is slightly on the outskirts of Spalding but you can be in the centre of Spalding or at Ayscoughfee Hall within 5 minutes. Springfields (large shopping centre) , Weston (3 car boots a week) and Baytree Garden Centre are about 10 minutes away. Can highly recommend.

Janet and Pete are absolutely lovely, two nicer people you couldn't wish to meet.|| ||They are extremely accommodating and very flexible. I had an emergency and needed to come to Spalding suddenly, they could not have been more helpful. Pete is a fabulous cook and breakfast choice is first class.||||I have stayed at Mear Lodge several times now and will certainly be doing so again.

I came across Mear Lodge by accident and am so glad I did. Rooms are clean and ample. Pete and Janet made us feel welcome and were delightful to talk to. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice. We will be returning next time we vsist Spalding.
