My brother got married here at this hotel. Such a nice hotel from when you drive up to the staff who are nice and friendly! The family room is nice and big. The hotel is located just of an A road with the views of the countryside and not too far from East Midlands airport too as you can see and hear the airplanes got over head. I would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway and even a nice small wedding as they have everything on sight for your whole day.

We had out wedding on the 19th of June everything was perfect. From booking the venue to the day after the wedding everything went smoothly. Staff were friendly rooms were spotless. We had a buffet and everyone said what good quality the food was. Drinks were a good price. Breakfast the morning after the wedding was nice.
Would 100% recommend the Melbourne View Hotel for a wedding.

My daughter had her wedding here recently,the owners Trudy and Steven were amazing. They accommodated everyone the staff were brilliant I couldn't find any fault.
The venue itself is light and airy it's decorated lovely.
The garden , plus the views it was perfect plus if you love looking at airplanes it's on the flight path.
The breakfast food was well cooked, presented nicely .
As a venue that holds weddings you have the option of an indoor/outdoor wedding

We had our wedding there yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic, the views around the property provided great photos, there was plenty of room for our guests who wanted to stay the night l, and the staff were all very polite and professional ensuring everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having their wedding venue here.

Attended a wedding here and stayed over. What a lovely place! Food was excellent, the room lovely, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Had an amazing day and stay.

We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and decor was lovely, however the en-suite was interesting!! It was down some steep steps, there was no door and the toilet was in full view of the bedroom, so absolutely no privacy! By the time we realised this we had already unpacked so we decided to put up with it as it was only for one night.|We were really surprised and disappointed to find there was no bar or restaurant at the hotel so we were going to have to go into Melbourne. We had a problem getting a taxi in, but didn’t realise it was going to be impossible to get a taxi back at about 10pm. The hotel owner very kindly came out to get us which was greatly appreciated, but it would certainly be worth the hotel having some sort of arrangement to provide that transport link. |Breakfast the next morning was between 7.30 and 8.30am which is very early when you are wanting to relax a bit, away from home. |Overall, a nice hotel but with a few issues which need resolving.

Attended for a wedding and stayed overnight. Food was lovely. I had the vegan option and they catered very well. Even the cheese and biscuits had vegan cheese.
Beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good as well and nice to sit round with everyone and have it brought to you rather than buffet.
