Another fantastic stay at Meltfort where we've been holidaying for 25 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. It takes us around 8 hours to travel from where we live but we keep going back for more which speaks volumes. Breathtaking scenery and beautiful clean and well maintained resort and gardens. We stayed in Harbour Master this time which was spotless, comfortable and well equiped as always. We travelled with friends who stayed in Anchorage who also enjoyed their stay and enjoyed some lovely evenings in the houses. The kids had a great time out on the loch and pier fishing. Hazel was as helpful as always tending to our every need.||If you're lucky enough to find this beautiful place pay it a visit.......it's well worth the trek and you won't be disappointed!!!

We were warmly greeted by our host and shown to a fabulous lodge overlooking Loch Melfort. A stunning location ideal for an adventure get away.
The lodge included a sauna which was an added bonus.
It was modern extremely clean and provided all the requirements for a self catering accommodation.

Family of four adults stayed in the Harbor Master suite for two nights on our way through the highlands. Comfortable, clean, modern, and GORGEOUS! Took an early morning 8 mile hike down the small road running along the inlet all the way down to the Kilchoan estate then circled up through the open space trails to the top of the hill for STUNNING views! Hazel at reception was VERY nice and helpful! She pointed out the trails, local places to eat, and helped us find a last minute boat tour to Staffa through the Turus Mara company. Definitely recommend!

Spent a few days here with friends. This property is in a beautiful, off-the-beaten track location that isn't heaving with tourists. The accommodation is spacious and well-equipped.

It is however, very dated and in some serious need of some TLC - and our cabin was nothing like the photos online, which are bordering on false-advertising. I think some of the other rooms and cabins must be a bit nicer so check that when you book.

Problems we had in our cabin included flickering lights, Sky TV that doesn't work, untidy wires sticking out everywhere and dated furnishings. Also the WiFi wasn't working. We did ask for this to be fixed, but then it only seemed to be working for a few hours a day. There was no phone signal, and I'm all up for a digital detox as long as I can let people know beforehand I'll be out of contact. But when the accommodtion is supposed to come with WiFi obviously I didn't do this.

One male member of staff was pleasant enough, but the manager/female member of staff only came to nip at us about check out time on the last day.

Given the location this could be a phenomonal property - but a few too many things letting it down sadly.

Boathouse East Balcony Suite - Hazel was extremely helpful with questions I had prior to our stay. We received a very warm welcome from Hazel on arrival at reception and she showed us to our accommodation Boathouse East 3 bedroom. The accommodation was very spacious, extremely clean, amazing views, sauna and jacuzzi bath, very well presented with everything you require for an amazing stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Just home spent chrismas 2024 at the admiral suite, and we had a lovely time. The flat is well equipped for a few days away. the scenery is beautiful and the harbour and peir is great for a cold water dip! |The flat is extremely cosy with the under floor heating and once you get your log burner going it's so romantic this is our second visit to loch milfort first time was around 10 years ago and this visit was just as good as the first. Hazel on reception made us feel really welcome calling us to let us know our house was ready early 😀 on arrival she was great showing us to the house along with her we dog and Charlie the cat. We also met Sebastian the handyman as we set the fire alarm off and he was just delightful nothing was a bother for him and he was a pleasure to meet. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful few days away from it all this little gem of a place will have you relaxing in no time 😀

We came across this beautiful destination by accident and so glad we did. Efficient and prompt personal nd friendly service from initial booking to advice and info about the area. We stayed in the Admiral Suite. A beautiful newly upgraded and refurbished property in the most stunning location. First visit but not the last as olan to return with family. Modern, bright, spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. Sauna within the large spacious bedroom and bathroom just off the bedroom has a large walk in shower in beautifully upgraded bathroom. Separate bath too for those who prefer. The kitchen and lounge are open plan and patio door leads out onto a full size large balcony which overlooks the harbour and loch. Plenty to do for kids and the lower suites all have a garden or patio area. Cleanliness overall was superb and the outdoor spaces well maintained, tidy and clean. Cannot fault it
