We’re do I start, so much good to say about Mellington Hall Hotel. We stayed on their touring site for 2 night which was a gift to me and my wife. On arrival we were greeted by Paul who was so friendly. He escorted us to our pitch telling everything we needed to know. The site is extremely well kept and peacefully with excellent facilities. Toilet and shower blocks are very clean and modern. Good size pitches with large space between them. After parking up it was time to try the fishing, fished for 2 1/2 hours on a small but Lowely kept pool. Caught 9 nice carp who were a bit lively. With my wife enjoying a relaxing time reading by the pool. On the Friday evening we met family member for evening meal. We were seated in a side room with sofas and dining table, which was lovely for just our family to be together. The staff are wonderful, very calm, pleasant and so do helpful and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. The meal service was excellent as was the food, beautifully cooked and so tasty. Returning back yo our motorhome for the night, we had a very peaceful nights sleep. Saturday after a little lie in it was off to the pool again. Afternoon tea was next on the agenda. Without any doubt this was the best afternoon tea we have had, the quality of everything was exceptional and so tasty. Be prepared to take a doggy bag home. My wife was impressed with the food and hygiene when it came to what you could take home, nothing with pork in it as it is high risk. preventing any risk of food poisoning. Again the service was first class and faultless. Tried to walk it of with a woodland walk. |To sum up even though we have another night here, which we have no doubt will be excellent, we have experienced excellent staff service in every area, a peaceful relaxing stay with excellent value for money. Highly recommended and will be back Thank you to all the staff you made our stay so enjoyable.

We love everything about this property from start to end. We stayed 4 nights in 2 different rooms, one of them is the suite, luxurious and well appointed. What a great view we had! The best decision ever to experience both rooms. We love walking around the property, beautiful garden and pond, every area is well kept and so safe to walk. ||We had dinner in the hotel for 2 nights, great quality and affordable price. The hotel is not far from beautiful castles and other attractions. ||Service here is second to none. Everyone is so friendly. Thank you all. That was a memorable stay. Will be back.

Lovely stay at the hotel. Staff and manager lovely and did all they could to make our stay lovely. Couldn't ask for more from a country house hotel. Food lovely anf a good breakfast, the eggs ben was delicious. Rooms spacious and comfortable. The shower pressure was the best i've ever seen, extremely good! The whole experience is a credit to its beautiful surroundings. Everything I expected and more.

Mellington Hall has been a beloved spot for us for over 25 years, and it never fails to impress. The food is consistently lovely, with a menu that includes both à la carte and basket meal options. It's a fantastic convenience that they offer takeaway meals, making it perfect for when staying on the caravan park. ||||The seafood linguine was a standout dish, it was absolutely delicious. ||||The current manager and his team are exceptional—always welcoming and friendly, they create a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. ||||Thank you to all at Mellington Hall.

Wow! What a location and historic building. There are unspoilt views from windows in the dining rooms that extend as far as the eye can see across the beautiful Welsh countryside. It is difficult to appreciate the calming tranquillity of these surroundings without experiencing it.|The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was out of this world. Traditional classics reinvented by chef Rob and his team in a way that would compete with award winning restaurants but at pub food prices. Simply amazing and the highlight of the trip.

We had our wedding here and could not have asked for the most perfect place. The food was delicious from our wedding dinner, evening snack to breakfast) with everyone impressed. The setting is perfect and staff did everything they could to make the day special. Special shout out to Henri (manager, Beth in bar and Rob chef) and all who worked there on 16th August |Highly recommend getting married here and we will back to celebrate

Had a special meal out with friends. We go regularly and never had a problem before. Food was always excellent. However last night my meal was horrendous. The gammon was overcooked hard and dry. The egg was like rubber. Never made a scene but went privately to the manager and told him. All he said was I'll tell the cook and was totally uninterested. I was going to book 3 rooms for a future event in March but will certainly not be booking now and will never go to Mellington again. New management are horrendous.

Really good food. Everything was piping hot and plenty of it. Outstanding service from all staff. We usually come out here on a Saturday but as our daughters were over, we decided to go out for a roast and it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend Mellington the food. wine and service was excellent.
