We attended the New Year's Eve party event and had a great time. The room and tables looked very attractive with the meal served efficiently and promptly. The live band and the disco were both really good and played a variety of music to suit everyone. All of the staff were excellent - friendly, courteous and helpful. Next morning we enjoyed the substantial buffet breakfast, a good start to 2025!

We have been away over night to for new year every year but the Mercure hotel Norwich was great. There isn’t one thing we could fault at all. Staff so friendly, food was brilliant including breakfast, rooms were more than adequate for us. 100% go again 👍|One of our friends had forgotten his cuff links ! The manager even went out of his way to supply him with a pair what more can you say

What a great hotel. I agree it is a little dated.but it is more than made up by the great service and food. I only had breakfast but a fantastic choice of cooked or continental. Lots of Danish fruit and a fantastic coffee machine. Oat milk as well. Lovely friendly breakfast staff.
The hotel was spotless it is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in and I have stayed in a lot as I travelled alot for work.
Can't wait to stay again.xx

Taking our two older now adult children back to where we got married was a great experience but on its own the New Year’s Eve event was amazing. The room was decorated as were the tables, the food drinks and music and band all made for a superb event. It was adults only which for this we were looking for and the final addition of a cheese board each after dinner was the icing on the cake for me as I love cheese. Allergies were noted and confirmed for anyone who that applies to although I knew the menu didn’t have anything I’m allergic to but sometimes it’s an unknown ingredient and they did check. A superb evening to end a little bit of a sad few weeks in a better note.

Attended the New Years Eve party and stayed overnight.||The NYE party was great. Well arranged, decorated tables. Good food, welcome and midnight prosecco. Excellent, friendly service from all staff we encountered. Live band were brilliant, playing two sets and seeing us into the new year in style. Supporting disco also great. ||Room was really comfortable, clean, warm and well appointed. Great shower. Breakfast was excellent with great, plentiful choice and friendly staff. ||Lots of parking on site and easily accessed off. ||It's our second NYE here and probably not our last.

Our group of 12 had an exceptional experience at the Mercure Hotel Norwich! Despite the need to stay last minute, the staff worked as a team went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms were ready on arrival, and the beds were cozy, guaranteeing a great (day) night's sleep.

The hotel also extended breakfast hours just for us, which was a thoughtful touch that allowed everyone to enjoy a leisurely start to the day. To top it off, they even held our laundry for us, making the whole stay incredibly smooth and convenient.

Big thanks to the team and management for their flexibility and incredible service – they made our last-minute stay exactly what it needed to be. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Mercure Norwich the night before a half marathon, and it was just what I needed. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect for a restful sleep. The evening meal and BReakfast provided much needed carbs and plenty of options! The reception staff were welcoming and even wished me good luck for the race, which was a lovely touch. Would certianly stay again!

Well looked after from staff. Comfortable rooms and cleaned every day.
If you forget to bring something with you ie toothpaste and other toiletries the hotel staff are only too happy to provide these free of charge.
