Good hotel.
Met well at reception. Nice room. Good shower (and unusually for hotels easy to work out how to use at the right temperature)
only really stayed overnight as we were there for something else but very good experience. Hotel room a bit hot overnight

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and the rooms very spacious. Also the parking was great. However, I really want to highlight the great support we received from the staff (especially Vahshak) during a medical emergency - 100% recommendation and we will definitely be back!

I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews but my room was fine. Clean, bed was comfy and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast is served in their restaurant area which is tiny.||The hotel bar shuts at 11pm and they don't do any kind of room service drinks. Have never stayed in a hotel before where you can't buy a drink after 11pm.

Loved our stay! My friend and I had a conference nearby and this hotel was perfect. We had the chance to meet John (working the front desk) and he was extremely helpful. If I get the chance to come back to Oxford, I will definitely stay here again. Thanks guys!

Great location for everything in Oxford and easy to get to from the Railway Station. Check in was quick and staff friendly. Room is not huge but has everything you need. Lighting is a bit odd as you can’t control any individual light / or bedside - it’s either every single light on or all off !! Also room was so hot as well as the corridors - the electricity bill must be extortionate !! Breakfast ok - had worse / had better.|Would stay again but at a cheaper rate

Stayed Sunday 17th November the room allocated to us was stifling and you couldn’t turn the radiator down. Only one window could be opened but only an inch. There was a fan but this made sleeping difficult because of the noise. It was extremely hot not a pleasant night which was a shame as the bed was very comfortable with the nicest pillows. The shower was excellent. The cooked breakfast was disappointing, food wasn’t very hot and the plates provided were very small. The coffee was tepid and unpleasant. Yogurts, fruit juice and pastries all good. Something needs to be done about the heating in 502 it really was far too hot to sleep in and must be costing a fortune!

Terrible room. Needed paint, bed on casters with no brakes. Closet so tiny that I couldn’t hang coat without disturbing tea things. Hit my head twice on the low ceilings while trying to figure out which of four climate controls actually functioned.

Gave it up as a bad job and went to stay at the Randolph. That was nice.

Afternoon tea. I treated my niece, who has special needs. To an early Christmas present of afternoon tea. She adores the whole experience and fuss.|I had purchased via Groupon, feeling unsure what to expect despite being a frequent Mecure guest, I have never had Afternoon tea at one of the hotels.||It was beautiful, freshly made sandwiches, you can tell they hadn't been made early in advance. Beautiful scones and a gorgeous chocolate brownie. Plenty to chose from.||My niece prefers hot chocolate than tea. The lovely waiters made her 2, which she confirmed were delicious. ||Would highly recommend, especially the welcoming staff.
