Just spent a lovely child free evening at Kenwood Hall Hotel and had a wonderful experience. Our room was not only nice but also incredibly comfortable, allowing us to sleep really well. The evening meal we had was delicious too and staff were lovely. A special shout-out to Nicky at the main desk—her friendly demeanor truly made our little break feel special. She was very helpful, friendly and down to earth which added a personal touch to our stay. We will definitely be back!

The room was very comfortable for our overnight needs.
We would have liked a fridge in our room as we had two children with us who required milk ext. The room was very warm but ok once the radiator had been turned off.
The safe was not positioned in a place that made it easily accessible and the lighting in the room was not good enough to get down on the floor and read instructions on the door, it could have been placed in a more accessible place.
The hotel staff were very helpful and polite and Nicky on the front desk was very helpful, and made our checking out fast and efficient.

Really helpful staff. Very welcoming and the decor and facilities were great. Coffee was delicious. Prices were brilliant. Lots of parking. Good offers on seasonal options. Toilets very clean and menu looked interesting too.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Nicky in reception and breakfast room staff all very good. Hotel rooms are spacious but looking a little tired. Rooms are warm sometimes too warm and are not air conditioned. Public areas are airy and comfortable.On site parking available. Ideal spot for exploring the Derbyshire Dales.

Elsie at reception was lovely. Overall hotel seems nice.
The bed was very comfy and overall a decent room but had no glasses or water in the room which is disappointing.
Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty but no cold milk for tea! Managed to get hot out of the machine but this is very unusual!

I stayed for the weekend for a family wedding nearby.
Paul helped us by organizing a room for our second night which we hadn’t booked. The holiday was full and he worked hard to ensure we could stay again. We are very grateful and what a lovely guy too, so upbeat and friendly!
Nicky is in a league of her own, kind, compassionate, fun yet remains so professional! Massive asset to the hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to her.
I would highly recommend a stay here purely based on these staff, they are a credit to your team! Thank you for helping us and being so kind.

I booked a room at Kenwood Hall to get ready before my wedding, and it was perfect. Everyone was so lovely and excited for me. The room had plenty of space for everyone and a gorgeous view over the lake. Thank you, Iulia, for getting the room ready for us. Big thank you to Lisa for helping us check in and sorting out a chair for hair and makeup. Paul was also lovely and excited for us. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary next year!

We had our wedding at The Kenwood. It was simply wonderful. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. The catering was excellent. Our Ceremony room, The Terrace looked stunning. Special thanks to Markela, Paul and Gabriel for going over and above. Our expectations were well and truly exceeded.
