Generally good. Meals were of a good standard (dinner & breakfast). Easy parking. Only complaint was from the noise emanating from the hotel's colling/heating system vents that all terminate on the flat roof immediately below our room. Rooms on the hotel front would be much quieter I'm sure.

When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff which was lovely. The bed in the room is extremely comfy and the shower and facilities were great.
In the evening we went for a meal in the restaurant which was very enjoyable. Only made better by the wonderful waiting staff Yuen and Dean. They were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to make the dining experience an enjoyable one. Yurn was so personable and really funny. Thanks for a great time!

This was my second time dining in, and I was delighted to be served by Shann again. She’s always so welcoming, enthusiastic, and supportive. With her warm smile and patient manner, she offered helpful food recommendations and even remembered what I liked, despite it only being my second visit. Her service really made the experience enjoyable – it’s always a pleasure eating here.

I met an old friend halfway for a weekend of sightseeing. The hotel was well located for Attingham Park and Iron Bridge. It was an easy walk to local restaurants and bars but sadly they’re all chains.

I paid for early arrival so I could get some work done before my friend arrived. Unfortunately had to go back to the front desk twice because my key wouldn’t work and a third time because there were workmen who were about to fix the bathroom in the room provided. But when I finally got in it was all well presented and clean. We had a twin room, beds were comfortable. Sheets and duvet perfect. I do think the room needs a small fridge with some cold water. It would be a nice basic touch. Otherwise fine.

Breakfast needed more fresh fruit and veg options.

Restaurant:

Long waiting time , low staff and the restaurant was empty; the waitress told me it was too busy and I had to wait up to 25 minutes to receive one cheesecake. In the mean time 2 of waiters were not helping with orders and customer service .

Hotel:

On the website it tells you your room comes with air conditioning and a functioning TV , but on my arrival I found a room with no air conditioning and TV that doesn’t work . I went to reception to inform them , they said that they were fully booked and because of that I was given a room with no air conditioning, when on my booking I was told that this would be included; so for this inconvenience they told me I would receive a total refund so now I hope that they keep that promise . But for any people looking for a hotel to stay the night I suggest making sure all services are available.

I stayed here recently for an annual conference at the Telford Conference Centre and was really impressed. A warm welcome from Emma at reception meant I was in my room within minutes. I had stayed here a few years ago when it was a Park Inn, and the refurbishment since then has really lifted the place.

My room was spotless, with a walk-in shower as I had requested, a very comfortable bed, good TV, excellent internet, and tea and coffee facilities – everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

I also dealt with Steph and Izzy on reception, who, like Emma, were excellent – great customer service all round, a perfect ten from me.

At dinner, Dean and Yen looked after me brilliantly in the restaurant. The evening meals were very pleasant and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent too, offering a good choice of hot and cold options. While breakfast service wasn’t quite as polished as dinner service, it was still very good.

Although I didn’t use the leisure facilities, the staff around the hotel were friendly and engaging. A special shoutout to the kitchen and housekeeping teams – often overlooked but vital – they did a fantastic job.

Even though I arrived by train (about an 8-minute walk), I noticed the onsite parking was excellent. Plus, the hotel is close to shops, cinemas, and restaurants, so a very convenient location.

All in all, a great stay. I will definitely return when I next need to be in Telford.

Really good staff throughout very pleasant and welcoming. We normally try and find an independent local restaurant but eat in the hotel. The food was very good and generous (catch of the day fish). Yuen looked after us and the service was exceptional. Only criticism of the hotel, adjust the door closers to stop the doors that bang or add some soft doorstops. An easy fix that often means so much. Would recommend the hotel. Looking forward to a swim and sauna hopefully before breakfast

I had a great experience at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I’d especially like to thank Shan, who served me during my visit—she was incredibly kind and attentive. When I mentioned I was feeling a bit warm, she quickly and thoughtfully turned on the AC to make sure I was comfortable. Small gestures like that really make a difference. Great service all around!
