While the spa treatment was good, the facilities weren't. Because the building functions mainly as a gym, the steam and sauna rooms were really busy, there was no where to sit and properly relax. The whole building had a damp smell, and didn't feel very clean to be honest. When I raised this concern with the staff, I requested a partial refund due to the fact myself and my sister were not able to use the facilities. However, we were told this was not possible because of the fact I had purchased the Spa Day via their website (which didn't really make sense to me).

I felt like it was very reasonable to request a refund for the difference in the cost of a Spa Day vs. the treatments and this was repeatedly refused. The staff weren't very helpful, and I was really disappointed that my feedback was not taken seriously. I discussed these issues with the Spa directly for many weeks, as I really didn't want to leave a bad review, but sadly there was no solution provided.

The treatments were fine, but I definitely don't think the "spa" is worth it at all.

UPDATE: I am unable to reply to the response provided by the Spa. However I wanted to make clear that I was not offered this money back. I was offered to use the value of the difference in another treatment, but I explained many times that this was not a good solution for several reasons; 1) the venue was over an hour away from me, 2) it would not assist both myself and my sister, it was only enough for one small treatment, 3) I did not wish to return to the venue for the exact reasons I requested the refund. Once again, I feel this could have been very easily resolved with a partial refund. Just frustrating that we are at this point.

So unprofessional. Couldn’t even answer if the massage therapists were HCPC registered. First said yes we are registered, don’t worry. And then when I was persistent in asking if the massage therapists are individually registered he didn’t know the answer and just left me off the hook, carried on with his own conversations and then came back and answered the call like he didnt know what was going on. Put me off from booking completely. Cherry on the top was that he terminated the call!

Very good value if booked a couple of days before. We live nearby so is perfect place for a massage. All of the staff have been excellent with us.

I had a massage here as I received a gift voucher for my birthday. During the massage I was in absolute agony (despite asking for less pressure several times) and the masseuse kept talking about her previous jobs that she had “absolutely hated” throughout the treatment which I found very unprofessional. When I got home I had bruises all down my arms and legs which were painful to touch. Very unpleasant experience.

Wasn’t expecting too much tbh but honestly it totally over delivered on the facial and massage.
Michaela and Disha were brilliant, and it was one of the best massages I’ve had.

Waiting area downstairs could do with a review as you’re basically facing stairs, (ok that bit can’t be helped) bikes and mess in the window and the curtains in the massage room could definitely do with being darker but those small things aside, the initial welcome was friendly and we will definitely be booking again.
