Room was very nice perfect for what you need when staying away for a couple days or a night although little touches like hoovering under the beds would be advised (rubbish still under bed an dust an hair) … the en-suite was still soaking wet from condensation from the previous nights shower I fell over when going for a pee this morn (extractor fan needed) … rather disappointed that every review in the book in the room raved on about how great the breakfasts were yet me and the husband got a single slice of brown bread left out … one slice of bread each as “there was only toast and cereal” … I’m reading reviews about full englishes cooked breakfasts so don’t feel the money paid matches the value of this stay compared to others experiences

I stayed with Jane for 2 nights, while at an invent in the village. The rooms are separate from the house, off road parking. |The room it’s self was very clean & well looked after, the bed was very comfortable, Very quiet village no noise. I would definitely stay again.

Found this B&B whilst looking for somewhere to stay in Wellingborough to attend a wedding in Stanwick. Room was comfortable and they had thought of most things that you would require for your stay. WiFi was free.They also had off road parking so your car was secure. A lovely Full English breakfast was provided and very much appreciated after a boozy night. The hosts Jane and John were very accommodating they even arranged a taxi for us to our wedding that we were attending.

We stayed here for a family wedding.||||The b&b is a self contained unit with a little dining area, very sweet. Beds are very comfy and there is good parking off the main road in a secure area.||Prices are very reasonable and include a variety of breakfast options. The couple that run this b&b are very obliging and lovely - they gave us privacy & we barely saw them except at breakfast which was great for us.||||I would recommend this place as its clean, decent quiet location & has parking. Only slight downside is the internet is a bit slow. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Stayed here on a rare child free weekend, very pleased. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well looked after with essentials you may need. Breakfast was delicious, would highly recommend

Stayed for one night friendly couple running this and even got a free lift to Irthlingborough as it was a wet and windy day. Accommodation is separate to house and has its own breakfast room. Great full English and comfy bed for the night. Would recommend to others.

I like staying here - it's phenomenally good value & just as quiet. That said, a 50m walk & one arrives at the village pub, for food & a drink.||The wifi signal's weak & an extender is worthwhile bringing if you're staying for a while - stick it high up near the room door.||The situation with breakfast's unclear but I'd suggest discussing it when you book. The hosts both work & if they can provide you something in the fridge, it's good to sort yourself out.

A great B&B with charming hosts. Discovered on a B&B site and booked my first night quite a few years ago. I now stop here (3 or 4 times a year) on my way home from (or occasionally to) the Cambridge area. The rooms are well thought out and comfortable, I just wish I could sleep as well in my own bed at home as I do here. Get up to a great breakfast to prepare me for the final leg of the journey home. For those that like fish and chips for an evening meal, there is a great chippy (Higham Fish Bar) in nearby Higham Ferrars, the owner is great (although I visit him only 3 times a year, he remember s me and what I want), and his fish is fantastic, unfortunately he's not open on Sundays, so once a year I have a Chinese.
