From day 1 Chris from Midsussex Catering has been fantastic. Planning a wedding 2 nearly 3 years in advance He's been helpful and informative all the way through. He's been reassuring and so helpful, I cant fault him at all. Chris and his team were superb on the wedding day! I didn't have to worry at all. They took care of everything took all my stress away and their food was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted! Every single person at our wedding said how great the food was. Chris' team were efficient and hard working. Anyone who is looking for caterers for a wedding, big event I would highly recommend they will not disappoint. 10/10 thank you so much for making mine and my Husbands day a special one! xxx

We hired Chris and the team to cook us a 3 course meal for our wedding celebration which was absolutely fantastic. The Camembert tasted incredible and the shin of beef all of our guests hadn't stopped talking about how amazing it tasted. Chris and the team were on time and so friendly and I would highly recommend! Also left the whole kitchen clean and tidy, thankyou all so much you made our day!

We had a very good experience with them. Super profesional and delicious food! It was for our wedding (a small 40 people wedding) but everyone commented how much they liked the food. We had the pork belly as the main course and mushroom Wellington for the few veggies around.

Chris and his team catered for my daughter’s wedding at Rumbolds Farm, Plaistow. The menu was delicious and included trays of canapé style starters which the staff served with plenty of fizz after the ceremony. My glass was never empty!
The ‘wedding breakfast’ was served as plated meats with sharing bowls of veg and salads - there was plenty! The pulled pork was so good.
The meal was finished off with sharing platters of 3 desserts - all of which looked and tasted great.
We also had GF and vegan guests who were well catered for.
We also got Chris and his crew to run the bar from midday right through til the last dance.
He arranged all the hire of crockery cutlery and table cloths via a supplier.
I am really glad we booked Mid Sussex Hog Roast - it made a major part of the day run very smoothly and our guests loved the food!

We couldn’t have been happier with Chris as our wedding caterer in July 2024. The meal was fantastic, even better than we’d hoped after the taster day. Chris and his team served up amazing food in big quantities without compromising on quality. Our guests kept raving about how great everything tasted. Chris and his team catered for our wedding and from day 1, Chris was great at giving us his advice based on what we were looking for. We wanted a family sharing style food and it was just perfect. On the day, the food was complimented throughout from all guests but it was the staff that made it for us. They were so attentive and constantly on hand to answer any of our questions. I always had a drink in my hand and food in the other! Thank you for all your help and recommendations in the run up to the day- we couldn’t have asked for more.

From first contacting Chris to enquire about catering for our wedding for 36 people, he was helpful, flexible with the menu, friendly and professional. It was no trouble whenever we had queries and Chris had helpful advice. He also arranged the hiring of everything from table cloths to water jugs and his staff were very friendly and efficient. A lot of our guests commented on how good the food was and wanted to know his secret for the super Honey Glaze canape sausages. It was a pleasure having Chris and his team cater for our wedding and helped make our special day fabulous. Yesterday Chris provided the catering for our work's small summer BBQ party for the second year running, after we had so many great compliments about the food last year.
