Absolutely wonderful hosts in Clare and Brandon and their lovely dog Fin. We only managed a one night stay here as they were fully booked and i'm not surprised why. From the moment you meet Clare the kettle is on for a coffee/Tea and a chat. Our room was perfect wonderfully furnished. The attention to detail is outstanding. Breakfasts was everything I wanted and served in their own kitchen - nothing too much trouble for this lovely couple.

After exploring several options for our wedding anniversary, we ultimately chose to stay at Mile House Barn. After reading the reviews, we felt quietly confident about our decision, and boy, were we right.||Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted at the door by Claire and her adorable little dog, Finn. Being dog lovers ourselves, we couldn't resist playing with him. Claire kindly invited us inside, and we had a delightful chat in the kitchen diner while she poured us some tea. We discussed the on-site chickens, the intricacies of hen care and cleanliness, as well as topics like cruises, holidays, and shared funny anecdotes. We also briefly met Claire's charming daughter, who was preparing to start high school in a few months. It truly was a lovely and welcoming experience.||We were then given the key and shown to our room, which I must say was absolutely immaculate. The Victorian-style bed with bedside lights, dresser, enclosed wardrobe, and TV created a cozy atmosphere. On another table, there was a kettle with a tray of neatly wrapped biscuits, tea, coffee, and milk, providing the perfect settling-in experience. The ensuite bathroom was fantastic, with plenty of towels, pristine cleanliness, a bath, shower, sink, and, of course, a lavatory.||The room featured a skylight with a convenient shutter for the summer nights, and an old-style yet modern round window hatch. The entire room was flawless.||Then, disaster struck! My partner needed a hairdryer, so I went downstairs, and within a minute, we were provided with not just any cheap white hairdryer, but a boxed GHD hairdryer. We actually forgot to return it until the next morning! I had a pleasant chat with Claire's husband, who was equally cheery and hospitable, before heading back upstairs to continue getting ready, hairdryer box in hand.||We had plans to dine at a restaurant about 2 miles away, and we were considering taking a taxi. However, to our surprise, Claire offered to drive us into town! We seldom encounter such charming service, and it made our experience even more exceptional.||After returning late, we settled into a wonderful night's sleep.||The next morning, we were treated to a cooked breakfast featuring recently laid fried eggs (I swear they were still warm in their shells!), accompanied by sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and toast.||We were even invited to observe and stroke the hens wandering around the property and of course watched Finn doing some "zoomee's" around the courtyard 🙂 ||Overall, our stay not only provided excellent value but also surpassed our expectations in every aspect. The next time we plan a night out in Nantwich, we won't even consider looking elsewhere.||Thank you, Claire, for a truly wonderful stay! To those considering booking...do it quickly!

The three of us stayed overnight here for a wedding. Comfortable stay, cosy room, delicious breakfast (veggie option available) and very friendly owner. She also went out of her way to give us a lift back to the wedding venue to pick up the car. Would highly recommend staying here

Clare is an amazing host nothing is too much trouble and she cook's a fantastic breakfast. The bedrooms are finished to a high standard, both room and bathroom were very clean. I took my dog with me and he was made very welcome. Loved it so much I have booked in again later in the year, highly recommend staying there 👌 xx

Clare and Brandon are the best hosts. They make you feel so welcome and are happy to help with anything to make your stay perfect. They make you feel at home and even helped us get ready for our evening out to a family celebration, including lending us some last minute fashion essentials. The rooms are very nice, clean and very well designed. ||Clare cooked us a lovely full English, catering for vegetarians and meat eaters equally well. Eggs from the garden and freshly squeezed orange juice were lovely touches. ||Cannot recommend this place enough, thank you for looking after us so well. Simon and family

We were treated on arrival as we were early with freshly brewed coffee, tea and biscuits.... Clare, Brandon and their lovely family were probably the best hosts I’ve ever encountered we even met the chickens. The Beautiful barn is even better than the photos with everything you could possibly need for your stay. I loved my bedroom it had the most comfiest bed, we had our own private lounge for the evening and a good hot shower in the morning. Great Breakfast with fresh eggs from the family chickens and locally sourced bacon, and to top it off the option of a blow dry from their resident hairdresser Stefan. Overall I can’t fault this bed and breakfast which was made even better by the people that lovingly run it. I will definitely be back to take advantage off the stunning location and amenities

lovely people very kind hearted, best B and B I’ve ever stayed at and very comfy bed. We felt very welcome and woke up to amazing home made bread and a lovely coffee, great area for cycling and will definitely come again. Clare and Brandon made us feel very comfortable and at home
