I recently visited for the second time on Sunday Morning. My first impressions of this visit were good, staff were friendly enough to begin with. However, this progressively got worse through my time spent there. My friend and I ordered our food/drinks at the bar as advised. I ordered the Mexican breakfast on sourdough with an orange juice. The lady told me I should make my way over to the table and she would bring everything over, I was not once told I should take my orange juice from the fridge that I had just ordered. When I had received my food, I was made out to be silly that I hadn’t just taken the orange juice out of the fridge myself, even though I was never informed this was the case. Additionally to this, we had spent around 1 hour on this table. I could see that the queue was building up around me for a seat. The waitresses began to clear our plates and dirty glasses. However when my friend went to the bathroom, a waitress came over and took our water jug and glasses. Shortly after my friend returned from the bathroom, a very rude lady came over and proceeded to say “Are you two going to buy anything else?”. Thus implying she wants us to get off the table, even though we had just paid for our brunch and drinks expecting at least a 1.5 hour duration on the table to enjoy ourselves. I understand that it was busy and they had people waiting, however this is not how you speak to customers. I won’t be returning due to rude staff, however everything else was fine.

Busy, local, vibrant community hub. Children, dogs, couples, solos, families, friends - all are made most welcome here. Great choice of food and drinks always served with a warm and friendly smile and kindness. Be prepared to sit outside or wait for a table at very busy times, it's VERY WELL worth it!

Disappointing, watery iced coffee that had managed to be given to me separated in the cup. A very tiny cup may I add. When mixed together it became a very dark brown. What sort of cafe is too tight to give people an adequate amount of milk!! (attatched below is the tiny cup these coffees are served in)

Charges 60+ pence for a flavour shot yet this is totally tasteless within the drink until you get to the last sip and this is all you can taste!! Absolutely vile. Far better coffee can be made at home.

Prices not listed on many things leading a suprise at the till. Really terrible quality food and drink, staff look miserable and have a terrible attitude. Nowhere near worth the scandalous prices they charge.

TLDR: Just go to starbucks it'll be cheaper, nicer and have more generous portions.

My wife and I recently visited Mill Kitchen in Farsley, and we were blown away! It’s hands down the best fry-up in the area, with excellent, locally sourced produce that makes all the difference. Even though it was busy when we went on the weekend, the high turnover meant we didn’t wait long for a table. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s dietary requirements. We also loved the great selection of drinks and really good coffee. Plus, they have a lovely range of local gifts. We highly recommend it!

I met up with some work friends for some lunch here a couple of weeks ago.
We were all happy with our food.
The staff were friendly & helpful.
There's a large parking area at the back, none of us struggled to park.
Good environment although quite noisy. This didn't bother me, although I would imagine this won't be suitable for some.

Everything about The Mill Kitchen and Bakery is great. It has a vibrant, buzzy atmosphere which is perfect for socialising or maybe relaxing and people watching. I sat reading my book with a lovely cup of coffee and felt very chilled. The staff are clearly happy in their jobs and work really hard to make sure customers receive excellent service.

I love this place, often come to work but there's a good mixture of all ages coming in to socialise or work. I had the best mushroom soup I've ever had here today. The sourdough bread was so good I almost cried. All the staff I've interacted with have been really helpful and gone above and beyond for me - including making a whole new chai latte when mine had come out slightly colder than I wanted it.
