Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a trip to Sheffield. Nice place in a beautiful location with good views at the rear over the river Don. There is a large rear garden.||Room clean and bed comfortable, and very quiet. Each bedroom has its own mini fridge. You are more of less given free run of the ground floor of the house and there is also a seating area on the landing which is available for guests. There is also a large library of travel books and leaflets on the landing.||Parking is easy as is access. Breakfasts are excellent. The hosts are attentive and friendly. We would happily stay here again.

The hosts, Di & Dave, greeted us with a huge smile and welcome then asked if we'd like a drink whilst taking us up to our room. Two minutes later Di returned with a pot of tea and a cafetiere of coffee for us to enjoy on the balcony of our room in the late afternoon spring sunshine. We sat watching the sheep high up on the hill whilst listening to the birdsong and laughing at the ducks getting ready for a boys night out on the stream that meanders at the bottom of the garden!! |We had already eaten but there is a good list of local eateries in the visitors info file on the dressing table. You can also order a takeaway to have in your room.|The room itself is more than adequate with a fabulous shower room plus a kettle and coffee maker. A wardrobe is ideal for any clothes that need hanging, plus there's a small fridge with the cutest bottle of milk.|Nothing is too much trouble for Di & Dave and we highly recommend you try them out....you'll return as we will very soon.

Well what can we say about this property, only WOW!
It's set in wonderful surroundings, on the bank of the river Don.
The owners, Di and David, are wonderful hosts, with lots of info on places to visit and eat.
The room we stayed in, had a balcony with a view of the hills, river and ducks.
It was a very good size with a lovely ensuite.
Everywhere was so clean too.
There are a wide range of breakfast options, which were very tasty.
We are hoping to go back in May next year.
Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Stayed last night in the studio.. mum & 2 daughters ( all adults).
Rooms beautiful & spotlessly clean,
Owners Di & Dave made us feel very welcome, made us a coffee with packets of biscuits on arrival!
Beautiful views & location. Very peaceful.
Ideal as we were going to meadowhall shopping centre & Cannon Hall Farm few miles away.
Lovely breakfast included ( cooked breakfast, toast, jams, butters, cereal, fruit juice, tea, coffee) .
100% recommend & will definitely be booking again next year. X

Such a fantastic place to stay and such wonderfully kind hosts. The room was immaculately clean and the amenities for a B&B were to the standard of a high-grade hotel.

The area is lovely and when we wanted a take-away for dinner they brought it up to us with pre-warmed plates and cutlery.

Breakfast was lovely with plenty of fruit, jams and the standard English breakfast.

I would love to stay again sometime and cannot recommend it enough.

A beautiful place to stay, very comfortable, easy access and spectacular setting by the river. We had a two floor studio with a galleried upstairs. Lovely modern bathroom, kitchen facilities and great hosts.
