This is definitely one of the best value for money afternoon teas I have ever had.
I couldn't believe the size and selection for the money. Various sandwiches (egg for veggie and a lot of meat and fish choices for other dietary preferences) macaroons, chips, coleslaw, fruit scones and 3 large wedges of cake. We were SO impressed. The location was nice and quiet with loads of seating outside in the sunshine. There is parking, just make sure you pay if required. The coffee and tea was also delicious and you can tell the staff (who were very attentive) care very much about the business. I'll definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

What a find!!!. We were in the area looking at houses and found this amazing place. Staff were brilliant, food was exceptional and the biscoff frappucino was the best I have ever tasted!!!. People are quick to moan but aren't quick to praise super service, well done to all the staff!!!

First time visiting here as a new resident on the kings reach estate. Unfortunately the visit has left a bitter taste in my mouth (not the coffee). After standing at the till and not being acknowledged for a little while, I asked for my coffee in an takeout cup as I was sitting outside but may have had to dash due to having a newborn with me. The lady who was serving me, she was older with glasses proceeded to question me in such a blunt manner “so you’re sitting in not taking out” I advised her that I was sitting outside but would prefer a takeout cup due to the reason above. She then said “so you’re sitting in is what I’m asking” I just nodded my head as she clearly wanted to try and belittle me. My request was completely ignored and I was given a mug and carried it outside, I’ve never been made to feel so stupid for asking for a takeout cup. It’s not normally an issue with other coffee shops, I was happy to pay to sit in if the prices were different, but I just wanted a paper cup to have my coffee in. I would really like to visit again, as the other staff member was really friendly, but I will be avoiding on the days that this other staff member is in. On a positive note, the coffee was lovely, unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish it off, as I had to leave. Just a bit of advice to the lady that served me, please just he a bit kinder to paying customers, you really don’t know what somebody has been or is going through in life.

Kind regards,

Dom

I've been here multiple times as part of a group, for a coffee alone and taking the kids for a treat.
The cafe is small but well laid out and they have more than adequate seating outside which is great on a nice day.
The coffee and cold drinks are always lovely and they serve ice cream in the summer. It's quite overpriced but it's well known locally that the rent on the square is high so this is expected.
Unfortunately I have never have anything to eat here that I've enjoyed. The bread on the sandwiches have been dry and hard, same with the bagels. This could potentially be improved if they were toasted and made fresh but they are sat on the counter all day.
The cakes and brownies again have been very dry. I have a very sweet tooth but even I can't finish one as they just aren't enjoyable.
I don't want to leave a negative review of this lovely local café, it has great potential but every time I give it another shot I'm just disappointed - thus my review today.

Opened 8th Oct 2020. Visited on day #2 and regularly since and has maintained high standards. Some of the best coffee in Biggleswade and tasty panini‘s too. Excellent spot to read the Sunday papers 🙂

The staff here are incredibly rude. They act as if you're an inconvenience as a customer. One staff member was moaning when I came in an hour before closing with my 2 children. They were saying 'I don't know why people bother coming in at this time.' They then left me waiting while doing dishes and ignored me for about 10 minutes. This is one of many incidents I've had here. I really want to love this place as they do lovely food and beautiful vegan cakes. You should sort this out because I'm getting to the point where I don't want to spend my money here anymore. Before when I was heavily pregnant I felt really sick and needed to eat but they didn't have any vegan sandwiches or any other food apart from cake. I was with my mother in law and daughter and they were having drinks and cake and I was going to buy cake too. I explained this and asked if they wouldn't mind if I ate a vegan wrap from sainsburys on premises with my drinks and cake as I was so sick because I was pregnant and they said no. Disgusting. There are many other times too where they've been so rude to me. I'm not supporting you anymore. You won't get any more of my money. Without your customers you won't make money so perhaps you need to train your staff on how to speak to people.
