Beautiful, cozy, and incredibly clean hotel in the heart of the city! The design is stunning â stylish, warm, and welcoming. Despite being so central, itâs very peaceful. I felt completely safe during my stay, which is especially important to me as a solo female traveler. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having water waiting for me upon arrival. The staff is amazing â huge thanks to Ephrem at reception, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and truly made me feel at home.

Staff provided a grand service. It was quite comfy and very clean and tidy. Having a well maintained bar, comfy environment, aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't fault my stay here. I was a bit disturbed when going to bed due to outside noise. Other than that. It's a fab hotel. Coffee was plesant and I really enjoyed my stay here. Probably my new favourite hotel now. I'd recommend it to anyone.

A great choice for a night in London to watch Cabaret. Amazing location in the heart of Soho, and yet no noise when we left busy streets to head back to our room. Though our room was at the rear of the hotel. We had one of the small rooms, perfect for a one night stay. Beautiful decor, excellent staff that understand the small details of hospitality.

My recent stay at Mimi's Hotel in SoHo was incredibly disappointing. While the location is indeed central, that's pretty much where the appeal ends. The room itself was shockingly small, barely larger than the king-size bed it contained, and to make matters worse, it had no windows. If "solitary confinement" were a hotel in SoHo, Mimi's would be it. For the price point, you can find significantly better options in the area, and I cannot recommend Zedwell enough, or even AirBnBs that offer actual space and natural light.||The most frustrating part of my experience was dealing with the hotel management. I made an honest mistake, accidentally booking a three-night stay for the wrong dates through a third party. When we arrived, we discovered the hotel was only available for the first night and they were otherwise fully booked. With no choice, we stayed for the first night and then found accommodations elsewhere for the rest of the trip.||After appealing to the third party booking company, I was informed that they would support the refund but that the final decision on a refund rested with Mimi's Hotel.|I then spoke with Ephrem, the Manager, who flat-out refused to authorize a refund, despite my incorrect booking being a full month in the future. His reasoning? ||"We have a business to run." ||You could have fooled me, Ephrem. Most people running a successful business understand the critical importance of customer service and positive word-of-mouth. This rigid and unhelpful stance, especially given the circumstances (my mistake, yes, but for rooms they can rebook with a monthâs lead time), speaks volumes about Mimi's Hotel's priorities. It's clear that once they have your money, guest satisfaction is no longer a concern.

We were unable to lock our door as the lock didnât fit into the doorframe, and when we told the receptionist he was argumentative and told us that we could in fact lock the door (we couldnât, we tried many times). The bathroom stunk and when we addressed this the hotel receptionist said that the smell was from the street and they knew about it and couldnât do anything, but then when we said that they should have mentioned this to us he said they don't always know about it or when it would happen. The bedroom lights were flickering so we had to use the lamps instead. There was a bottle of half drunk water in the fridge. The bed felt sandy, like it had grit in it. |When we calmly addressed these issues with the receptionist upon checkout, when he asked how our stay was, he was rude, argumentative, and kept speaking over us. When we said we expected more as we paid a fair amount for the room, he interrupted us and repeated âitâs a nice roomâ 3 times. Safe to say we were absolutely shocked and appalled by this behaviour. He was also pulling faces when we were talking, and seemed very irritated by us bringing issues to his attention. Itâs a shame we didnât get his name. He then offered us a 20% refund, but explained we would have to sign a form saying we were not allowed to say anything negative about them online, including leaving a review. We declined. The hotel called us back half an hour later to offer 30% off instead, but we again politely declined so that we could leave an accurate review of the hotel online. |Would not recommend! This experience well and truly ruined our otherwise lively trip to London.

My daughter and I were vacationing in London when we were forced to find a hotel room at the last minute - we thought we had reserved our vacation rental for 5 nights and were surprised when the housekeeper knocked on the door on day 5 and informed us she was there to clean the room. Turns out we had only booked the rental for 4 nights. Our fault completely. But we were lucky enough to find Mimi's Soho Hotel and they were able to accommodate us for one night. Loved the beautiful room and the location, which was FAR better than the vacation rental we'd been in, which was in the suburbs. We both wished we'd been at Mimi's the whole time as it was quite literally right in the middle of central London, close to shopping, bars, and shows. We'd been utilizing public transportation from our original spot to get to anything, but transportation wouldn't have been necessary from Mimi's! Love this place and I'd absolutely stay again given the chance!

Scammy. Basically the ârooms with no windowsâ are coffin sized; this is a glorified Japanese capsule hotel. literally a bed with walls touching all sides. Even prison cells are bigger. The âair conditioningâ (dr evil air quotes) isnât AC at all, but just recirculated warm air that claims to be 16 degrees but is more like hot yoga. The first room I was put in had a noisy rattling AC vent, but they wanted to charge me 40 EXTRA pounds to switch to a room with a non-rattling vent, on top of already paying 150 pounds. I had to negotiate them down to 15 pounds for the switch but I feel a real hotel would have just put someone in a functioning room, and if none were left, upgraded them no cost. I know itâs London but there are other hotel rooms in London that are more than just a bed with no AC for 200 quid!
The people at the front desk were friendly but trying to nickel and dime (ie 10 pounds to watch your bag for an hour, 20 pounds PER HOUR for a late check out, etc) just gets people to write reviews like this one; if you want a higher rating and more bookings, prioritize sending customers away happy instead of getting every pound from every scam..
Tons of nice boutique hotels near kings cross for half the price; Iâd recommend getting one there and then bus 20 min or uber 20 min to see soho, instead of staying here. Literally every person I saw either laughed or sighed when they saw their room. Canât imagine staying longer than one night or with a second person.

There are some stay in prison for a night experiences available in the UK, such as in Shrewsbury prison and Shepton Mallet prison, but why bother when you can stay in Mimi's Hotel in the heart of Soho. ||||Not just in Soho, but in one of the best streets in Soho, Frith Street, and in my slightly biased opinion, as a born and bred Londoner, in one of the best streets in the world.||||The bed and shower were good, but the available floor space requires me to update the well-known phrase, "you couldn't swing a cat in it",..... to "you couldn't swing a kitten in it".||||Now my review is slightly tongue in cheek, but still accurate regarding how tiny the room was.||||I do get it though; "real estate" is hugely expensive in the area, so perhaps making the rooms tiny is the only way of keeping the room prices competitive, and not astronomical.||||The room would be fine if you are checking in, quickly getting changed, going out and having fun, back in the hotel in the early hours, wake up, shower and check out, because you would barely notice or be bothered about how tiny the floor space is.||||But if you are spending any meaningful amount of time in the room, then you will feel a bit like Dick Turpin, Belle Star, or Al Capone did. Confined and punished.
