Went here 3 days ago. It was a lovely experience especially, the massage and facial treatment I had with Maria. She explained the whole procedure and checked up on me during the treatment asking whether I'm comfortable with the pressure of the massage. Loved the whole experience. Would recommend to everyone I know!

Worst experience ever
Booked the Eastern Spa Experience for mum and auntie through spa breaks 3 weeks in advance. Issues:

1. On arrival, they were told that the booking hadn’t been paid for regardless of evidence provided. Arrived 9:40am and treatment booked for 11:30am. Receptionist advised that they would be unable to do anything until assistant mgr arrived. They were sat around until 10:15am when assistant mgr turned up.

2. Once they managed to locate the booking, my auntie asked for welcome drinks assuming it was included in the package. The assistant manager Nicola stuck to this like glue as it wasn’t actually included. (Misunderstanding by auntie). They were told there is a coffee machine but no pods left - ‘oh well’.

3. Then informed that slippers were not available as it’s something they do not provide and ‘haven’t done for some years’. Booking (images provided) clearly states they are provided. Something that the spa need to take responsibility updating with Spa Breaks if that’s the case.

4. By this time, they’ve been waiting around for over an hour, twiddling their thumbs. Assistant mgr says ‘I’m the assistant mgr but I’m in treatments now so will be busy if there is anything else’. Take from that what you will 🤷‍♀️

5. Mum asked if they could have the afternoon tea whilst waiting for the treatment. They were told no it will have to be after treatment.

Imagine turning up to a spa day that we’ve paid £100 each for, to experience this. Nothing to help ease the inconvenience. No accommodation for the confusion or bad experience. Treated as if it’s our fault?

Furthermore the place needs a clean! Dated, old and dirty.
I would avoid.

Had an amazing experience at the spa the past weekend, everything was perfect! Emily on the desk was so friendly and accommodating, facilities were so relaxing and very clean, and our treatments by Tia and Rachel were the best we’ve ever had! Will definitely return in the future.

Booked a midweek spa package very reasonably priced. Spa facilities very clean and professional staff, the massage was fantastic and very relaxing I can see now why the mineral house has a great reputation. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing day. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was not working when I arrived but did eventually come on an hour or so before I was due to leave. The afternoon tea was also outstanding and freshly prepared very professional waiting staff.
Overall a really pleasant day. Highly recommended first class.

I would highly recommend the spa treatment at the Crowne Plaza a lovely Christmas gift from my family
It was a lovely experience as it was my first visit to a spa
Both Beth and Mariia made myself and my daughter feel welcome on arrival 😊
Very friendly wonderful atmosphere fantastic service felt at ease a big shout out to you both so very grateful
The whole 2hours what a difference I feel the facilities was stop on a choice of a gym swimming pool steam room hot tub and a massage

I booked a room at the Crowne Plaza to have a relaxing night and some me time, the spa facilities where lovely when I used them. So I decided to book a treatment, the service was excellent during the booking process and the lady who did my treatment was attentive and delivered my two treatments with care.

I really enjoyed my deep tissue massage and body scrub, and feel very relaxed and refreshed now.
