Great coffee, but it gets crowded at 9 AM on Sundays. The staff and other customers kept pushing past me, which was frustrating.

good coffee (great beans, good espresso, ok-ish oat milk) and amazingly friendly (&fast) staff. a lot of laptops turn the atmosphere into a work-café, at the same time it was very noisy&busy (i was there in the late morning). the pastry is tasty, can especially recommend the madeleines

The best cafe in Oxford! In my opinion, this cafe serves the best-tasting coffee, along with a great selection of sweet and savoury snacks. Every time I visit, the service is outstanding, which keeps me coming back! The staff never rush you out and always go the extra mile to find you a seat, even during busy times. Maia, in particular, always seems genuinely happy to help and welcomes everyone—whether you're a regular or a first-time customer. 10/10 would highly recommend!

This coffee shop is my top recommendation for quality coffee in Oxford. We tried the espresso, long black, flat white and cappuccino, and each was much enjoyed. The roast was strong, the milk was steamed to the perfect temperature and consistency, and there is a broad range of pastries, vegan friendly. The coffee is affordable and the staff are knowledgeable. While I have only used this coffee shop for social occasions, it looks like a good spot from which to study or work remotely. I visited on a Monday afternoon and it was busy (as expected). There was space outside and once the hot coffee was in my hands I didn’t mind the cold one bit. If you happen to turn onto Turl street, it’s worth a stop.

Coffee in this café is excellent when at its best - which is most of the time, but, unfortunately, more consistency with quality of takeaway drinks close to the closing time would have been nice... There is a selection of nice savoury and sweet snacks. There are no toilets, and the space is tiny but has a great atmosphere. A friendly suggestion: please try not to collect coffee cups before customers left their tables or take their plates away while they have just taken the last bite... 🙂

A tasty place for coffee and pastries with friendly staff members. I tried a latte and a flat white ans both were great. The only downside is that there’s no wifi. The university people are probably okay as Eduroam is available.

Small cafe round the corner from Bodleian Library. Nice warm vibes. Good coffee. Just too crowded at times

The weather was rainy and chilly when we visited Oxford, so we really needed some hot drink to warm up our body. When we walked by The Missing Bean, we were appealed by the crowd in the store so we decided to give it a try.

The decor is narrow-spaced with limited seating but the ambiance is pretty cozy. There are lots of students gathering there with coffee & pastries. We had their hot latte, the taste was decent and the best thing for me was it’s super hot which was a must for me, especially in this chilly day.
