I have just stayed for the 3rd time here. It is absolutely wonderful. The accomodation is perfect, comfy bed, lovely shower room, so peaceful and relaxing. The Gardens are beautiful and you could just sit in them for hours. Barry & Diane are probably the nicest host I have encountered in all my years of travel, nothing is too much trouble for them, and you feel so welcome, you just do not want to leave. These 2 converted Barns are perfect for a great rural break, and I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

We had a delightful 3 night stay in Lavender Barn. This cosy comfortable and welcoming cottage is situated in the owners' beautiful garden providing much appreciated peace and tranquility in the delightful historic village of Little Oakley. We and our dog Lucy were so comfortable in Lavender Barn which had everything we needed and more - thanks to the warm and thoughtful welcome from Diane and Barry. Lucy was positively spoilt. Nothing was too much trouble. Diane gave invaluable suggestions for what to do in this fascinating area of Northamptonshire. We will definitively be returning and would certainly recommend a visit to Moat Barns to others. Many thanks.

I had a lovely stay in Paddy’s Barn. It was comfortable and clean and the gardens are beautiful. I had everything I needed to allow me to relax when I came back from a long day at work.|I am delighted to say I will be staying here again in the near future.

Stayed 3 nights in Lavender barn and couldn't of wished for a nicer place to stay!|Just what we was looking for with our dog. Absolutely stunning gardens, run by a very welcoming and friendly couple, lovely little cottage with everything you could need. |They make you so welcome to sit out and enjoy the garden or sit in the summer house. Very helpfull and plenty of local advise on walks or places to visit. Lovely walks near by and close enough to visit local areas. |Would highly recommend a visit if your thinking about it. Another lovely little touch was the bread, milk, butter they left in the room for us. |Would love to return!

Fabulous little apartments (no lounge in either), but that is more than made up for in the idyllic locational use of the fabulous summerhouse that has both light and heat, table and chairs. Old English charm at its best. Paddy's barn is partly self catered, whilst Lavender barn has a kitchen with a washing machine. Absolutely stunning garden that the owners give access to and you can even buy plants. Homemade jam and marmalade, a loaf of bread and some milk and butter to get you started, and there is a supermarket in great Oakley for further supplies. Amazing place and well worth a stay with Diana and Barry who are most welcoming.

I didnt actually stay here as I live local. But I do like to stop now and again to see the gardens and maybe buy a few.... as you do! The owners are a lovely couple, and very knowledgeable when it came to plants. I spent a lovely 45 (ish) minutes there, having a tour and even ordering a few plants to be picked up when they're ready.
If you're just passing, try and stop for a bit... all money's taken go to The Dogs Trust.. 🐕

We stayed at moat cottages for 3 nights. Such a relaxing beautiful place. We were in Paddys barn... just so cosy. Had everything we needed. Diane and Barry are just so lovely warm and welcoming. We visit the Area quite often and will definitely be staying again.
