My mother had a recent experience with them, 2 appointments with the gynaecologist, and both times she felt like she was not treated well. Not welcomed, not greeted, and doctor was not fully acknowledging the issues she shared.
Reception on the ground floor is not very welcoming, not being guided on where to go unless you approach.

The facility itself is ultra modern, spacious and airy. The technician was friendly and efficient a day the consultant highly knowledgeable. The experience was excellent.

Breaches my patient confidentiality, often misdiagnose young patients and what a mess honestly, I had my patient record shred with my parent whom I asked specially not to share with, they try to listen but continually fail patients.

Today, I had a disappointing experience at the Astwood Green Health Unit.

I had an appointment with Dr. Orhunu Wilson at 12:30, and I arrived half an hour early. Despite that, I waited for an hour and a half before being called in.

When I finally saw Dr. Wilson, I explained that I wanted to get tests done for cholesterol and Uric Acid. Unfortunately, his manner of communication was quite cold and dismissive. I also mentioned that I’ve been experiencing pain in my left foot when walking and showed him a photo of my swollen foot from my phone. His response shocked me — he sarcastically asked, “How can you feel pain from a picture?” I clarified that it’s my foot that’s hurting, not the image, and I asked for an X-ray to get an accurate diagnosis.

Instead of responding with care or concern, he simply said that my foot looked normal and that there was no fracture, dismissing my pain without proper examination.

What I had hoped for was a more compassionate and professional approach from a doctor - someone who respects us as human beings first, before even considering their role as a healthcare provider. Dr. Wilson often says he is here to help refugees seekers, but based on my experience, I didn’t feel that support.

I ended up spending over three hours just for a simple consultation and makeing blood test. Such delays and lack of empathy are deeply frustrating.

I was referred there by my GP because I had fibroid. Got there and it was a male doctor who was examining my uterus. He handled my private area like it was not part of my body. He sounded threatening "I don't want to fight with you". He manhandled me and I was in pain for 2 days and I cried all through. The next time I was sent again to have a pelvic scan, I got there and it was another Asian male I refused. I mean those can't be real doctors.

I recently visited the Modality Attwood Health Centre, and I was blown away by the exceptional care and service I received!

The waiting area was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a soothing atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

My appointment was with one of the centre's consultant , who was absolutely fantastic. He asked thoughtful questions, and provided a thorough and expert assessment.

They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout.

Overall, I highly recommend the Modality Attwood Health Centre to anyone seeking exceptional healthcare. The centre's commitment to providing personalized, patient-centred care is truly impressive, and I feel grateful to have found such a wonderful healthcare provider.
